If watching two perpetually underachieving franchises with lousy defenses that all of12 people care about battle it out, then yes. It was spectacular.
They're simulcasting at least two MNF games this year, the next one is also an ESPN+ABC broadcast. However, the Bills game was top notch football. 10/10, would watch again.
I was being a dick. Daniels looks pretty damn good. I guess the Bills game was great if you’re a Bills fan. Otherwise it was a lopsided shitfest. And I still have a grudge against the Bills from the fight I had with a bunch of Bills fans years ago. Both my memory and my physique are elephantine.
The Bills look like a juggernaut. I wonder when Trevor Lawrence gets the fuck out of Jax if he'll do any better, or if the "generational prospect" just isn't as good as all the scouts made him seem. I'm cautiously optimistic about the Jets. Also, I got Malik Nabers on my fantasy team, and I'd win the league tomorrow if I got points for highlight reels. Holy shit!
I think he is a good player with a lot of physical talent who was simply overhyped. The guy was going to be the next Peyton Manning starting in high school, going to be drafted #1 as a freshman. He's had games where he looks like a very good quarterback. Just doesn't seem like he's quite the GOAT prospect, which would be okay except it looks to me like the play calling is bad, the O-line is terrible, and they decided to pay him $55 million/year two years before they had to. I haven't seen any football from the guy that suggests he'll turn into the prospect he was touted as, but I think there are plenty of situations where he could be successful. Unfortunately he won't be the first or last decent football player who got bogged down by a shit team with shit leadership, because those teams are so often at the front of the draft. Speaking of shit teams... Boy, Bryce Young looks like shit.
just me over here in FF, picking up Darnold off waivers week 1, getting absolutely clowned for it, and now I'm getting insane offers from people thinking I'm a moron
Injuries is what you have when players are playing too many games over too many seasons. It will only get worse
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41530933/nfl-quarterbacks-passing-decline-patrick-mahomes There has to be a talent pipeline discussion to this as well. Receivers and qb's being brought up in a different system, that sort of thing.
It's unbelievable that the entire Bears defense forgot how to play a Hail Mary. Your first job is to make sure nobody gets behind you.
Did no one see what Saquon Barkley did? Holy fuck. I don't think I've ever seen a reverse hurdle. It was a tough week for many teams. This is also injury time of the season. Thank god the Packers have their buy this week.
I thought you might be coming in to tell everyone that you had to put your Jordan Love body pillow in the closet.
How dare you. I would never. About last night, at about 3 minutes into the 3rd I said to the SO, wouldn't it be something if this game, of all the games, went into OT. I will say KC had some flopping going on. There was one in particular, I cannot remember who committed it, in the 1st half that resulted in a PF on TB that was so fucking obvious, but the officials didn't see it that way. I get so sick of that shit. That's why I don't enjoy watching basketball anymore.
