Yes there are. Here's to having a massive heart attack or brain aneurysm. Something that will pretty much kill me before I hit the floor.

Last night my husband asked lil B to give an example of a great invention. "Poison!" B replied cheerfully. Then, B went on to explain about killing rats and mice. I was almost on the floor, suffocating with laughter.

    I mean, lil B has a point.

It’s not the weekend and I’m not drunk, but I just logged in and read through hundreds of my old posts. The window into my mind over a decade ago is wild. Glad to recognize a few names still posting here.

Really good, especially compared to how I was doing when I was posting here last. Since I was last really active in 2014 I spent years wallowing in depression and eventually had a total psychotic break and tried to kill myself but failed. Went to inpatient psych treatment then a few years working my bullshit out. Went back to school, left the military and changed careers, moved a couple of times, fell in love and got married, got a dog, got a house, and just generally got a life. Basically just been on the up and up for a while.

What's new with you? It looks like the board still has a solid group posting after such a long run, it's honestly impressive the longevity this has had.

@Cult I'm so glad you're doing well! Sounds like your life did a 180. I'm glad you hung on and came out on the other side.

Things are going. So many details that make up a life. Since you last posted I have moved across the country and had a baby. Things are good for me and mine, and getting better all the time. I say this as a person who just exited winter. That's probably why I am in such a hopeful mood. By mid summer I'm gonna be full on manic. Check on me next Christmas because I might be in some form of hibernation and need my pulse taken.

It's an odd thing really. We share a decent portion of our lives while also having relative anonymity and yet, I could tell you what is going on in most of the regular posters lives. I've been here since the beginning (even back to the TMMB) and only know maybe 3 members real names lol.

Obviously he hasn't been around in ages, but I still have a wood cutout that katokoch made for me years ago that's displayed in my home office.
