I love it when he calls them out to their face. “That’s weak. You guys need to get your balls back.” Love it.

I love his career arc. I saw him when he came to my college in like 2004-2005. He was amazing. He killed. Then people started listening to his comedy and heard his bit about the epidemic of gold digging whores. And he was the comedy enemy. He never apologized or gave a fuck. But he’s always been on the correct side of everything. And now he’s a hero again because he didn’t mince words about Luigi.

I read that these tariffs go into effect on the 5th? So this is a typical “I’ll take you all down with me art of the deal rraaahhh” move, in my opinion. If I were any other country, I’d announce immediate end of trade with the US and hold fast.

I'm willing to bet that the Truth Social dump and a whole bunch of crypto dumps happened to free up cash to buy the bottoming out of the market this week.

I dunno that Trump has the power to make tariffs via EO stick, but it's a damned nifty grift right now.

Pretty bold thinking that this is the bottom of the market. I hope you're right.

Now it's getting personal, Ginger nuts is now off my Christmas card list. All his lunacy has devalued my retirement savings by nearly $100k aus so far. One is not amused.

None of us are dying before Trump does, so we at least get to celebrate that together.

I had a fairly conservative/reasonable plan for early retirement. The plan included a fair amount of hedging for market volatility.

The plan didn't include an orange douche canoe intentionally steering the global economy off a cliff. So I think I need to revisit some assumptions.

Couldn't agree more. Hence, being back at work.
Some good news is, is that I'll be adding to my 401k when prices are in the dumpster.

You do what you want. I’ll keep training for Thunderdome because fuel is something we have for others to take. And we have lots of hockey pads to fight in.

I'm down $35k and I'm still too scared to look at my actual retirement accounts.
