Ribs are on the traeger. I did a thing with apple cider vinegar, we will see how it turns out.

    Happy Easter!

There is an area behind our fence at the new place that we're responsible for. Biggest thing is just keeping it trimmed so it's not a fire hazard as all the spring growth is drying out. So my Easter Sunday was weed whacking that area. Measuring it out on Google maps tells me it's about 4000 sqft. But the really fun part is that it's on about a 40* slope. It kicked my ass in every way an ass can get kicked.

I kind of neglected them and charred the sauce at the end, and overall probably cooked them longer than I should have. But it was good, they had amazing flavor and it fell apart.

They were SO thick and meaty. I was looking for baby back ribs but this was from Costco and just called "pork ribs." They had tiny ribs on one side attached to what basically looked like a tenderloin with a decent even thickness fat pad on top.

I really just love the traeger. It's so easy to use.

I mostly gardened today. I fiddled around with the pond filter and weeded out mint from a patch in the garden I want to plant some starts in. I've got my work cut out for me. I neglected the area badly last year and the mint really took over.

Were they country-style ribs? Which aren't actually ribs, but sometimes come with a piece of the shoulder bone?

I'm more familiar with the country style ribs being sold already cut into pieces but looking at pictures, what I got looks more like that cut it meat. I didn't have any shoulder bone in my cut. It had a line of small maybe 3-4" long rib bones along the side but they weren't attached to the whole piece of meat and kind of fell off after cooking.

Understandable that it takes a while for shit to propagate at X's scale... so when it's deleted it become eventually consistent, meaning that all the servers around the world get updated eventually, not all at once like a bank transaction or something.

But yeah... dude is a fucking whack job and I have zero desire to know what he's doing in life.

I don't have an X account anymore and find that loading X links without an account is very inconsistent - some work, some don't.

If you replace "x.com" with "xcancel.com" it works, though.
