Georgia still looked pretty dominant, any maybe Alabama will be their only regular season challenge? But, they have an off week ahead of Bama to prepare. Then, they play Auburn at home. Auburn might be good? Lots of youngsters, lots of transfers.

I noticed Auburn allowed the mercy rule while beating Alabama A&M (4th quarter only 10 minutes long) 73-3, but Ole Miss did not allow it while beating Furman 76-0. lol, I expect nothing less from Lane Kiffin.

New playoff format this year should be fun.

Miami may win the ACC this year, although it's hard to tell as Florida is trash.

Hey Juice, can you start a new NFL thread?

My interest in college football only extends to those teams I have a rooting interest in. To that end, I follow primarily Rutgers and Maryland. Both are likely destined for “not quite good enough to play with the big teams in the Big10 “ status. But they’re also decent teams, so I’m looking forward to the season. Maybe I’ll post some tailgating pics in a few weeks.

We needed 4 turnovers to squeak by Old Dominion. Going to be a long year. I am enjoying the FSU meltdown.

After bitching so much last year about getting left out of the playoffs, then having UGA hand them their ass, it's just a treat watching them lose to Georgia Tech and Boston College. There was some guy that guaranteed FSU would beat BC, and if they lost he'd eat a Red Solo Cup full of dog shit and post the video. I think he said "book it" or "bank on it" or something. I don't think that happened, lol.

Nice to see LSU find out what it is like to travel 2 time zones and play a quality team. I am not a USC fan at all, but it was a nice win.

Football mostly just makes me anxious about CTE but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy seeing Michigan lose. This afternoon I ate snacks with my sister at my parents' kitchen table while we watched dejected fans walk to their cars. Maybe it's just the proximity but UM fans have always seemed particularly insufferable to me.

Certainly didn’t expect Gameday to be here next weekend. Our defensive line might be legitimately very good. Kentucky just stopped passing. Ah the pride before the fall.

And now Florida State payed Memphis $1.3 million for the same treatment.

How in the hell do you get 2 defensive touchdowns called off? I’m not a blame the refs guy but I legitimately feel we were not allowed to win that game. 2 goddamn defensive tds waived off. A man who caught the ball out of bounds short of the sticks being given a first down. I’m grown and have matured but yesterday I was a 20 year old kid screaming and throwing things.

Nebraska finally has a quarterback, so watching games as someone who married into the fan base is actually interesting. He might be cosplaying Mahomes, but a win’s a win.

That roughing the quarterback flag to call back the Interception TD was dumb as hell.
