    No, it wasn't. When a trans person finally makes the gut wrenching, world shaking decision to challenge societal norms and brave being ostracized by friends and family by telling people how they feel on the inside, it takes colossal gall, arrogance, and a massive lack of empathy to tell them they're wrong.

    I'll totally say I don't get the desire to change at his age, especially given what he's accomplished. But I totally agree that this had to be an amazingly tough decision even if I don't understand it. Like with everyone else in this world, I hope he finds whatever he's looking for.

    From what I understand, she'd wanted to change forever, and even started taking hormones for it in the 80s, but something stopped her. Don't remember what. Not much of a fan of the whole Kardashian circus.

    I mostly think it's funny that she picked a name that starts with a hard K sound, but bucked the whole Kardashian thing by spelling it with a C.

    I thought what he did was weird, but I guess I have more in common with him than I thought.

    I thought the purpose of being a lesbian was to love and have sex with women and to not love and have sex with men. So, I don't think having a penis defeats that purpose does it?

    Plus, now he gets to use the shortest bathroom line at Rush concerts.

    I know a female to male transgender who, while undergoing the mandatory pre-op counseling, met another woman transtioning to male. They fell in love, both went on to become men, and were, last I saw them, lovers.
