Currency: [flag]us[/flag] I love <a class="postlink" href="http://www.restaurant.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.restaurant.com</a> Its a free website. They have weekly deals giving you between 50% and 80% off the already tremendously discounted prices. You basically pay $10 for a $25 gift card and with the discounts they can be as low as $2. And they have coupons as high as $100 I believe. All you have to do is spend a minimum amount and then you can use the coupon. My gf and I use them all the time. edit: this week's promo code is TREAT...you enter it at the checkout window
Currency: [flag]us[/flag] OK, this is a little out of my wheel house, but found great value out of <a class="postlink" href="http://WWW.bluenile.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://WWW.bluenile.com</a>. As a recently married dude, I spent about $3k in diamonds as a wedding present. My mother is a jewelry guru, as such, I had her scour all of her contacts (both physical and virtual) to find a competitive diamond provider. No one came within $2k of blue Nile for equivalent quality. In lieu of great pricing, you get confidence in service with full papers and next day, insured, certified shipping. They are second to none in dealing Legit blood diamonds.
Currency: [flag]us[/flag] Here's a few websites that I use, pretty good stuff (sorry Chater): http://www.fatwallet.com Go to the 'Hot Deals' forum and you can search around with a lot of good deals. People are constantly posting new stuff daily. Plus there's a 'Free stuff' forum for filling out online surveys. http://www.woot.com Deal of the day site, sometimes good stuff, most of the time it's crap...like todays. http://www.schnoop.com Another deal of the day site, ridiculous discounts. Today's is $150 off a $200 Police watch.
Zero Day Deals. Basically a feed from every deal 'o the day site around. They may miss a couple, but there's tons there.
Currency: [flag]us[/flag] Gilt.com/Giltman.com Site that has daily deals on designer clothes (and occasionally other things, ranging from vacations to motorcycles). While I know fashion isn't exactly the focus here, and you do have to sift through some truly horrendous "high fashion" stuff, you really can get some great deals on some pretty nice stuff. It used to be invite only but I believe you can just join now, if you do need an invite you're welcome to PM for one.
Ships: [flag]ca[/flag] Currency: [flag]ca[/flag] Expires: 6AM EST April 14th Dell Canada currently has a sale on til 6am tomorrow morning. A bunch of good stuff but here are two highlights that caught my eye: 23" Widescreen 1080p Monitor - $169.00 Belkin 3 Outlet Surge Protector w/ 2 USB ports - $9.99 I bought one Belkin. Considering buying one or two more. Handy for the kitchen, or wherever you want a USB charge port. Or for your laptop bag, etc.
I have a couple of these, and am VERY happy with them. Very handy for travelling, too. That's a great price.
Ships: [flag]ca[/flag] Currency: [flag]ca[/flag] Expires: Midnight Tonight Belkin 9 Plug Surge Protector - $29.96 (Regularly $89.99) Looks like a decent deal for anyone looking for a good power bar.
Currency: [flag]us[/flag] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.slickdeals.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.slickdeals.net</a> I have been addicted to this website at times. They have a front page with new deals daily. They also have a Hot Deals and a Free Stuff forum... The people on this website are serious about their deals.
Agree. Been on there almost five years now. They even have deal alerts that you can setup based on keywords that will automatically email or PM you based on preferences. The further you go into the forums (rabbit hole) the more you will learn about saving money.
[flag]ca[/flag] Some great websites to check out for cheap deals: http://www.redflagdeals.com http://www.save.ca http://www.teambuy.ca http://www.wagjag.com FYI - Baskin Robbins is doing their $0.31 scoop night on Wednesday April 28 in support of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (in Canada), or the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (in the US). Yay ice cream!
Free IHOP meals: 1 for signing up 1 on your birthday 1 on the one year anniversary of signing up While this is a Facebook link, you do not need to have a Facebook account to sign up for this. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.facebook.com/IHOP?v=app_10442206389" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.facebook.com/IHOP?v=app_10442206389</a>
On of my buddies is an avid photographer and does HDR photography. Yes, I know photography purists don't like it, but he's got some really good shots of NYC, Pittsburgh, and some other local shots from around his area. On Friday and Saturday, if you enter "GOBBLE" at checkout, you can get his prints for 50% off. I'm sure he'd love some extra holiday cash. HDR Exposed
Currency: [flag]US[/flag] <a class="postlink" href="http://www.usstandardissue.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.usstandardissue.com</a> The site is only open to military (active/reserve/guard), police, firefighters, EMT, etc., and you have to scan a copy of your ID and send it in to them, but you can get anywhere from 30-50% off on all kinds of Oakley gear. I buy all my boots and sunglasses there. It may also be open to UK/Australian/Canadian military, but I'm not sure.
Hit the sale page at poloralphlauren.com. There's a code for an additional 25% off the sale prices, making his clothes actually affordable, like a $185 dress shirt for $52.50.
Gander Mountain has an extra 30% off their sale items until the 28th with code RRNC3PNR6T. Free shipping too. (Don't think they ship to Canada though) My total savings for 8 items was just under 50% off regular price. If you're outdoorsy it's worth a look.
Since we're breathing life into this place again, I have nothing but great things to say about Warby Parker for RX glasses. They look better than anything I've owned and they were 1/3 of what I could have dreamed of paying through traditional outlets. The try five pairs and billing was real-deal. No hidden costs. Out the door for $135 with thinner lenses. http://www.warbyparker.com
My wife did this and it was great. She had to have them sized for her odd head and they reimbursed her for the amount. She just emailed a receipt.
Not a deal per se, but if you are a heavy amazon shopper, you should use camelcamelcamel to track prices. It will even send you an alert when a price drops below X amount. Some items have prices that are surprisingly volatile and if you can wait to take advantage of a good deal, you can save a good chunk.
