I don't know if you guys have noticed, but there's been a bit of a shitstorm circling around one Walt Palmer. He went big game hunting in Zimbabwe and shot a lion for $50,000. This particular lion was a tourist attraction because he wasn't afraid of people, which made him loveable somehow. Naturally, when people heard about some white guy shooting an endangered species, people went apeshit. Ol' Walt has had death threats and will probably have to close his dental practice, now a gathering place for stuffed animals left on his office doorstep. Then you see articles like this make you pause, at least a little. Focus: I know we have a lot of hunters on this board. What do you guys think? Is trophy hunting good? Bad? Indifferent? Alt focus: Tell us about a time you went on an adventure somewhere that made people in your life unhappy.
