There's no Shawl Thread. You're thinking of the Aw Shucks Ya'll Thread which is dedicated to leaving compliments about a person's shawl.
The name of the colorway is "If They Kill...Glenn." The dyer has 8--well, now 6 colorways based on TWD.
Basically it means exactly what you probably think it means. It's a different color of yarn. This particular dyer dyes self-striping colorways so that when you knit with it the yarn stripes.
My buddy ended up getting his first deer, though I didn't make him eat the heart or balls or whatever you weirdos wanted. I shot one too and it had some fucked up horns like they had been snapped halfway off while growing and was missing its tail, but was otherwise very healthy. It was a good weekend.
Bow or rifle? Not sure what the laws are out there. But here its only bow season, rifle season isnt until late November/December. I made veal and venison meatballs to go with our pasta last night. The wife wanted to instagram it but didnt want to post that the meatballs had venison as she found it embarrassing even though she loved them. We are now getting a divorce.
My buddy got his with a .30/06 that I bought and fixed up and was given to him as a wedding gift from the groomsmen a couple months ago, he's been hunting for a few years with me now and has always come home empty handed so I was really glad he got to use it. My deer was #7 in a row to drop instantly from my Winchester after a clean 200+ yard shot (not bad), was the first deer we saw and at 1:30 in the afternoon too. At some point in time I'll probably start bowhunting but considering the amount of time I put into firearms I have always just stuck with them. Our rifle season runs through November 20 and I'll probably get out for the last weekend on another property for the hell of it, after putting over 60 pounds of meat in my freezer last night I don't feel as pressured to get another.
I can't understand a Krispy Kreme closing... but, I also live an hour from where it started so the love runs deep. CFA is in my go-to fast food top two - it's delicious, fast, the people are always nice AF and the restaurant is clean. I used to think it was a touch more expensive but now, it's less than almost anywhere else. Cook Out is the other go-to. So much goodness in a styrofoam box. Oh, and hi y'all! I'm not dead!
Nice. Nothing better than a clean shot. Probably going to pick up a new rifle as a Christmas present to myself. My favorite day of the year is less than 2 weeks away. My dad, brother, and some of my dads friends head to Vermont for some hunting and a hosted wild game dinner. We all agree its better than Thanksgiving, but my poor mother doesnt need to know it.
Nice... I was just going through some pictures last night of my old hunting trips... dad and I would have been on the stands first thing this morning. With moving, work, and being new to the area, I haven't hunted in a couple of years... but I plan on getting back into it next year. I really miss it.
The new Winchester 70 rifles are pretty damn good, would be my pick the of popular off-the-shelf options today. If not that, a CZ 557 Full Stock model would make you the classiest Fudd in all the woods. I was thinking today how lucky I am to have permission to hunt the property I do, it is awesome. Not something to take for granted.
Got my new (Used) iPod today, I've got it all loaded up and now I have to relearn how to use my stereo again.
Hope you like not owning any of the music you paid for (you did pay for it, right?). Now let's celebrate wide hips: Spoiler Spoiler
Anybody listen to Mike & Mike this morning? They are taking suggestions for "best presidential sports names" today. The top three so far are: Quincy Carter Lincoln Kennedy HaHa Clinton-Dix
