Debussy - Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune Liszt - Liebestraum Dvorak - New World Symphony Bach - Concerto for 2 Violins in D Minor (my favorite. I have listened to this hundreds of times and still enjoy it) Handel - Largo from Xerxes

The first piece of classical music I ever really loved was featured in the movie Toys with Robin Williams. Tchaikovsky's Symphony #1 in G Minor, specifically part one, "Winter Reveries".
I am partial to Mahler's 5th symphony. Also, anything by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Messiean, or Rachmaninoff.
I can't listen to that, because it would just make me want to go watch Apocalypse Now. Much like, every time I hear O Fortuna from Carmina Burana I think of Dead Calm. Brilliant use of music, there, before everybody else started using that. (Don't get that, TVI, though, because it's opera.)
I used to play Saints Row and it would be on the classical station in the game, playing in the background as you level a city of civilians with a tank.
In 1993, I bought my first home PC that wasn't some kind of cast off frankenputer. I ordered it new from Gateway. It was awesome, because it had a pop-out cup holder that doubled as a CD player. When I first set it up, the audio CD I had nearby was Steely Dan's Aja. I played the Pipe Dreams game for hours while they played in the background. Over 20 years later, if I hear Peg or Deacon Blues on the radio, I can't not see the flooz from Pipe Dreams flowing all over the place.
