I've got work, then a family dinner tonight so I won't be able to be part of the draft until 7 or so, on the west coast. I assume this is is way later than anyone wants to start, so mine will probably be on autodraft. I'm gonna do some shuffling of my rankings right now. I'll also try and set it up so you guys don't have to wait around for me, though I don't know if you can.
Seeing how the time never changed, I'll be there at 9. Good thing that it didn't change because I almost completely fucking forgot.
Sorry for missing the draft. I had other stuff going on yesterday and forgot about it. I'm ok with my team at least. I wouldn't have drafted some of my players as high as I did, but oh well. Still plenty of moves to be made.
What's everyone's attitudes towards roster moves? Are we wanting to keep it to a minimum on an honor system basis? Or can we be picking up and dropping players on a daily basis? I don't really care either way, I just don't wanna step on anyone's toes.
Someone in one of my leagues just made a trade with a close friend of theirs. 16 team league, 2 spots each for C, LW, RW, UTIL and G, 4 for D. Trade is Mike Green for Nabokov. The guy trading Green has Kiprusoff as his one goalie and got stuck with Neuvirth as his other. He made the offer and didn't ask about a goalie from anyone else. Is it just me, or does this trade seem super sketchy?
And hey, who knows, maybe this is the year Luongo learns to cover his 5-hole. Oh wait. On the bright side, we all have such mind-bogglingly deep teams that I could have 6 goalies go down and still probably have a shot at the playoffs.
Sidney Crosby cleared for practice contact Looks like I'll be moving him off my bench earlier than expected. Anyone wanna trade a D-man for a center? I have 5 centers and 3 centers/wingers, and only 4 d-men
