I'm still scratching my head over that 2nd NE timeout in the 4th quarter. Was that the referee's covert method of telling Belichick to go fuck himself?

Not the first time, they got blown out 31-0 to start the 2003 season. They ended that season beating the Bills by the same score.
    Basically. That was bullshit.

My tribute to the 2011 Minnesota Vikings:

Fittingly enough, the Metrodome is pretty much right next to where that bridge is.

Just need the Falcons to have a good second half and i'll hit my 4-team ticket that pays 11 to 1. C'mon Matty Ice. Had a scare with New Orleans earlier, but they put up a 23 pt 4th quarter and sealed it. Good day of football so far.

I really hate that nickname for him. He's won some close games, but until he does something in the playoffs it's inappropriate. He sure wasn't Matty Ice when it mattered last season.

Matt Ryan was pretty good in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately they only got a field goal despite having a 1st and goal at the 5. And with a three point deficit and about two minutes on the clock they lost the game by being drawn offsides. Not what you'd expect from a team some were touting as superbowl candidates.

On the bright side, the Niners managed to suck just a bit less than the Bengals and are 2-1, facing the hopefully Vickless Eagles next week. I can't remember the last time the Niners won a road game against a non conference team.

I still think the pats will win that division. I mean the pats beat them what? 15 straight? They were bound to win one eventually. I don't think they're the better team. Brady won't throw 4 picks next time.

Whatever, it's all about the packers. 3-0 bitches! And so is Detroit... can't wait to play them.

How is he self righteous? Seriously though, can we drop the cheating thing? I'm far from a pats fan, but that whole situation was blown was out of proportion. He misunderstood the rules and you're allowed to bring in lip readers for fuck's sake. If he knew it was cheating it's not like he's going to do it in plain site. He's still the best coach in the league and any team that says they don't want him is either lying or stupid.

He is a great coach, but he cheated. He definitely cheated.

Yes, he cheated. Is it a big deal? No. People were saying the pats should have their titles stripped and their season nullified, which is just absurd.

So you maintain that one of the best coaches in NFL should be forever branded because of one incident, yet you want to talk about self-righteousness?

I find it ridiculous that the same people who cry foul about Super Bowl 36 never have shit to say about Super Bowl 40.

Big Ben, how is it possible to turn over the ball this much? 5 in week 1, 3 this half.

Eagle's fans Deja Vu - all over again:

1986 - Holy shit, we've got this great defense and an awesome scrambling quarterback! We'll be winning Super Bowls by the bucketload!

2000 - Holy shit, we've got this great defense and an awesome scrambling quarterback! We'll be winning Super Bowls by the truckload!

2010 - Holy shit, we've got this great defense and an awesome scrambling quarterback! We'll be winning Super Bowls by the metric shit-ton!

It's not working guys - time to try something else.

Ravens rookie WR Torrey Smith: Didn't catch a ball in weeks 1 or 2. First 3 catches of his career: 133 yards, 3 TDs. All in the first quarter.

Now that's one way to start an NFL career.

Hester owned the Packers. Too bad there was a penalty. Also, Joe Buck sucks.
