Filed under very easily solved problems women struggle with. I don't think the jets nab Manning. The colts would be smart to hold onto him for a couple more years. If he can play at a similar level prior to the injury you never, never let go of a QB like Manning. Andrew Luck sitting on the bench to get ready while learning from one of the all time greats isn't a bad thing either. If the colts do decide to market Manning there will be multiple teams that feel they can make a run at the super bowl with an upgrade at QB so we'd see a bidding war break out. As for Sanchez, I think it's time the jets started seriously considering replacement. They have a very talented team, but it's so hard to win in this league with the QB position stabilized. A franchise QB is the holy grail of the nfl. Sanchez has been in the league three years now and most of what I hear about his performance is excuses rather than praise. It's time for New York to cut their losses.
For what it's worth, Tom Moore's working for the Jets as some kind of "outside consultant." Should a trade become imminent, I'd imagine that'd give them some sort of a leg up, given he and Manning's history. Then again, acquiring a good quarterback goes against everything the Jets organization stands for, so I'm not holding my breath on that one.
https://twitter.com/#!/ChrisWarcraft (Vikings Punter) is hilarious: "Saw Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Meh. I give it 7 uncomfortable dildo insertions out of 10 unintelligible accents." "So I get on a plane for four hours and upon landing I find out Tebow beat the Steelers. Thank god our pilot wasn't Raptured mid-flight." "My 3 year old thinks she should get the big piece of chicken. Obviously we need to show her Chris Rock." "My New Year's Resolution - Continue ignoring people who say "just don't kick it to Hester" due to their status as slack-jawed crotchtoads."
For the Tebow/Broncos fan. All Tim Tebow brought to you buy some ex Bronco's and Simmons friend Gus Ramsey who has been a hardcore Broncos fan since 1978. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/grantland/ ... id=7454398
Fuck, this is the biggest Niner game in a long long time today. Haven't been this excited for a sporting event in quite a while. Letdown potential: enormous.
Tebow Tebow Tebow Tebow Tebow Tebow Tebows Tebow is now a grammatically correct sentence. We're kicking it off with the best match up of the weekend. This is old school meets new school classic football. The high flying offense vs the smash mouth, run the ball, shut down defense. The main difference between the teams for me is that the saints can put San Fran out of reach early, but the 49ers can't do that. It's been more than a decade since they've been relevant. This should be interesting.
What a game. I'm not even a fan of either team and I just spent the last hour screaming at my tv. God, I love the playoffs.
I actually feel bad for Tebow right now. He doesn't deserve to have his ass raped and his heart ripped out. Pats should pull Brady and throw the backup QB in to get him some seat time and keep Brady uninjured. 7-42 at the beginning of the 3rd is a solid enough buffer, eh?
Tebow has HALF as many completions as Brady has tds. He's playing terrible so he deserves all of it. As for yanking Brady, you really don't know Belichick, do you? I don't think I can watch the rest of this. The only thing keeping my attention at this point is the records Brady will break.
I can't hate Tebow as a person but he cannot play with top tier QBs. I would feel bad for him if it weren't for the attention he got from the press. We heard about him all the time when Breeze, Brady, Rodgers, and Stafford had amazing years and this is why I find it satisfying to see him humiliated. Good guy, terrible QB. As others have already said the Saints/49r's game was amazing. That game is why football is America's sport.
This. Tebow is no where near the level of Brady, Brees, or Rodgers, and yet he was mentioned as much, if not more, than the above three QBs. The Broncos weren't the Broncos, they were the Tebows. No one knew any names, it was just a bunch of guys who happened to play with Tebow. Never mind that their defense won all their games, it was all Tebow. This is why I am so happy to watch Tebow get blown out of the water. The thing people are overlooking is this: the Broncos won the AFC West, which is a fucking awful division, and probably the worst in football this year. They lost their last three games. Tebow had a good game against the Steelers, and I can't take that away, but at the end of the day he is a QB that belongs in the bottom third of the league, but he is treated as if he is on the same level as Brady, Brees, or Rodgers. I honestly think, going into today's game, Brady and Belichick wanted to go out of their way to show that Tebow isn't even in the same universe as Brady, and it worked. Will he be better next year? Probably, but I still don't think they'll be any good. My prediction: the only way the Broncos win their division next year is if the Chargers continue to run their very talented team into the ground with god awful coaching and even worse GMing.
Did you see the 49ers Alex Smith Press Conference? For one he wore a working man's shirt that said "Alex." Then he said "I was the fucking number 1 pick. Fuck all you guys. I fucking goddamn Vicked the Saints on that bootleg." I'm 99% sure he said that. And the fact the media blows Tebow's virgin balls isn't Tebow's fault, it simply isn't. But the fact he can't throw a goddamn short yardage pass to save his life is his fault. Let's ride Tebow for what he can control. ESPN/The Media need something to talk about, don't blame the players for what they do. Brady and Belichick went out of their way? I think that might be the biggest understatement this year. They wanted to erase Tebow from the record books. To the Patriots, Tim Tebow does not fucking exist. Goddamn Tom "motherfucking I'm married to the only supermodel in history on pace to become a billionaire" Brady played like GOD tonight (accept for that pick, no idea what the fuck happened there). I'd kill all of you in front of your families and the police to hear Peyton Manning's thoughts while watching this game. The shit was absolutely ridiculous. I loved hearing people talk about "I wonder when Bill is going to pull Brady." My response was "Uh do you know who the fuck Bill Belichick is?" Tom Brady punted the mother fucking ball to show his dominance. That's worse than if he took a cross, burned it on Tebows lawn, placed a Bible on Tebow's chest and shit on him. THAT is why Football is America's sport.
Did Brady spend the second half smoking a cigarette thinking of a polite way to ask the Broncos to not spend the night? Because that's what it looked like.
I see what you did there, and I like it. Patriots are winning this one. They have it figured out. They have Troy Brown 2.0. Who can stop Gronk and Hernandez? Please tell me. They get YAC like they created it. Giants going to be able to rush 4 and drop everyone else in coverage? I doubt it. How many yards did Hernandez get off his run play? Yeah...no one is ready for that shit. When it comes to the Patriots Defense...
