This is incorrect. The remaining two games will be played against the teams in other two divisions that finished in the same place within the division as the Bengals. The two divisions are the ones not playing the AFC North next year. So, Since the AFC North is playing the AFC West in 2012, that means the 3rd place teams in 2011 (since the Bengals finished 3rd place in the AFC North in 2011) from the AFC South and AFC East will be playing the Bengals. The AFC North also plays the NFC East next year, so here is the list of teams the Bengals will be playing in 2012: Baltimore (twice), Pittsburgh (twice), Cleveland (twice), Denver, Kansas City, San Diego, Oakland, NY Giants, Dallas, Washington, Philly, Miami, Jacksonville. The flex games you're referring to deals with the TV schedule, not the team schedules. NBC, which broadcasts the Sunday night game, has the rights to switch a couple games (I'm not sure how many) with CBS and FOX if it decides that later in the year those games are more attractive than the ones originally scheduled for Sunday night. Not sure if and how CBS or FOX get a veto or anything. The Patriots and Colts played every year for several years because they kept finishing in 1st place in their respective divisions, and coincidentally a year they didn't is when the AFC East was scheduled to play the AFC South anyway.
The game got exciting for 10 minutes when the newer younger guys/first timers came in. You're not seeing hits, but at least you're seeing acrobatic plays. And yeah, not shit else was on TV.
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.thesefriesaregood.com/articles/if-nfl-team-names-were-honest/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.thesefriesaregood.com/articl ... re-honest/</a> I'm already going through football withdrawal.
I've said it for years...the NFL needs to scrap the Pro Bowl game and do a skills competition. Run a 40. Throw a ball through a tire. Who can jump the highest. Whatever. Name the team, but scrap the game.
...is that physically possible? I mean, it seems like you've loved him quite enough. Why do I get the feeling that you'll be jerking off the entire game? Except half time, of course. No one can jerk off to Madonna anymore.
Is it physically possible? No. I'll be able to reach new heights in my love emotionally. Jerking off the whole game? I'm not going to move or blink until Tom Brady is holding up that Lombardi trophy. I'm going to be nervous as fuck the entire game. This shit isn't a joke. I cancelled my Super Bowl party because I was worried I'll kill one of my friends if they said anything anti-Patriots. I'm going to jerk-off after. Furiously.
Just realize if they lose, you may not be able to ever read this thread again. Or this board. I may just change my signature to "haha! Patriots lost to the Giants! Go New York! Brady chokes!"
I'm already expecting the Patriots to lose. The Giants are better than they were in 2007. New England is worse. They're going to have Julian Edelman covering Victor Cruz the entire game. My expectations are at a minimum here.
<a class="postlink" href="http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/7541297/2012-super-bowl-new-england-patriots-cut-tiquan-underwood-eve-super-bowl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/i ... super-bowl</a> Pats cut a receiver before the damned Super Bowl. The guy seemed to have handled it with some class, he'll still get the SB bonus and a ring, but how fucking ice cold. He's likely the only player in history to get cut the day before the Super Bowl.
Apparently they intend to bring him back next season, and the decision was done in order to bring on another defensive lineman. Considering the 1,001 questions surrounding the Pats' defense, especially how it matches up against the Giants' offense, I can't really fault them for playing strategy. Still, it sucks that he won't get to be in the Big Game.
Wow, I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Fuck Bellicheat. HAHAHAHAHAHA. The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant! (Some of you will get that reference, and yes, I'm aware they just won the Superbowl.)
