I'll just throw this out there... One of whoreswithnonames' last posts was "still not dead", and he hasn't been seen in almost two months...
Levon Helm passed today... The Band were arguably one of the most important groups from the late 60s/early 70s. RIP
Chatted with him yesterday and he's alive and more than well. Something about lots of sex with a girl...and her girlfriends. Yeah, don't fret, he's just dandy.
No. At least we'll never have to worry about her trying to do another version of "Macarthur Park" again. The original was horrible-terrible enough.
Who had Lonesome George? <a class="postlink" href="http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/06/26/giant-tortoise-lonesome-george-dies-in-the-galapagos/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/06/26/gia ... galapagos/</a>
Norah Ephron. Anyone? Anyone? Not one really on the radar, I think. Maybe men and women can be friends in Heaven. (Side note: she's three years older than my mom. That's a scary thought.)
Don Grady (Robbie Douglas) Okay, I'm dating myself here, but I was a little surprised to have to accept that he was 68! Time flies when you're old I guess.
Does anyone have any idea why all the flags in Manitoba would be at half staff today? Certainly not for Ernest Borgnine. I can't figure who died.
Had no idea Ernest B was married 5 times, including Ethel Merman. My wife was reading his obit this morning and said, "Did you know he was in the navy for 10 years?". My reply, "Including McHale's, or US only?". If you've never seen "Marty" do so. He won the Oscar for it, deservedly so.
