Rather incriminating Williams' bounty audio (NSFW language) Basically a timeline of my thoughts while listening: This just seems like a normal locker room speech Oh, well that's just a metaphor. He's just talking about big hits. Ehhhhhhhh, if he made that movement that's pretty bad. All this head talk is not good. Well the concussion thing isn't too bad. Take out someone's ACL? /facepalm So if this is authentic, that is pretty damning evidence.
Holy shit, this gets worse and worse for Greg Williams From his locker room speech before this year's playoff loss to San Francisco: So he is ON TAPE telling players to 1) target a potentially concussed player, 2) hurt other players in the pile, and 3) to aim for the head to knock players out of games. In today's concussion-obsessed environment, I think that this might be the single thing he could have said that would be most likely to anger Goodell & Co.
Yeah that guy is fucked, just fucked. Not sure if anyone has been permanently banned from the NFL, but I doubt he coaches again..
Guys, let's not let this discussion get out of hand, the real victims here are the St. Louis Rams... That and the best part of this whole thing is what Simmons outlines here.
Hey Ballsack, see this right here? I'm looking out for you here. Shit is four years old, let it go. They're not going to destroy a franchise that makes money because of 1 man being an asshole and another that let it happen. This appeal is interesting though, "Not reduce the suspension, but clarify the what they can and can't do" I wonder what that is going to come down to. "Mr. Goodell, can I text in playcalls from my couch?"
Woot! Patriots have the easiest schedule. <a class="postlink" href="http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/56896/2012-nfl-strength-of-schedule" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/ ... f-schedule</a>
Looking at that schedule it seems like the Vikes will have a good shot at another top 5 pick next year!
Look at the Falcons schedule. No 'stands' all season. 1 home, next away. All season long. I hope the assholes that keep wanting the Dolphins to play more 1pm games realize that most of those games will be blacked out. It's not 1977, teams arent shocked by the Heat anymore. Now I gotta sit in the stands and roast my chestnuts because of some bullshit advantage the Fins are supposed to gain by playing at 1 instead of 4?
As if the Saints weren't fucked already, apparently they've been electronically eavesdropping on opposing coaching staffs during games.
As a Patriots fan, this is the greatest thing I've ever heard. But not really doesn't do anything about their Superbowl win.
This is the face of Mickey Loomis. If that isn't a rape smile, I don't know what is. The Saints may as well be the goatse guy of the NFL at this point, due to all the rough buttfucking they've been getting. Not just from the NFL, but from the public at large.
Wes Welker was on ESPN this morning, they'll play it throught the day I'm sure. I'm beginning to think Hannah Storm is a little bit of a cunt. She just let's all these little things slip that are definitely trying to be sensationalist, and isn't asking objective questions. I don't see a lot of the other people on ESPN ask these sort of questions. I'm going to be massively bummed if they don't get him to a long term deal. The guy isn't declining, still leading the league in receptions. Came back after his injury and did exactly what he was doing before. No reason not to give the most reliable receiver in football, 80 receptions above the next guy in receptions, a solid contract. I doubt he's even asking for fuck you money. Just some comfort and insurance.
In her defense, what is she supposed to ask him? How does it feel to be 4" shorter than me, not including the heels? How long did it take you to grow that KeyWest Rumptickler of a mustache? Are you capable of running a pass route more than 4 yards downfield? How close did you come to shooting yourself in the face after losing the Superbowl last year?
The Browns used a 1st round pick to draft a 28 year old rookie. Ben Roethlisberger is 29 and has 2 Super Bowl rings. Aaron Rodgers is actually 2 months YOUNGER than Weeden. They deserve to be in the AFC North cellar. Pittsburgh takes an OL, exactly as I hoped.
In their defense he actually looks to be a good prospect. I still think Colt McCoy can be a decent starter ala Bernie Kosar, but hey, let's say he sits for a year and gives them 7 years? I'd call it a decent investment.
Belichick drafts defense - a defensive end and an inside linebacker. Thank fucking God. Now to madly google these guys' names...
