I heard a lot of people saying they think they'll make the playoffs and/or win their division this year. Maybe it's just the area I live in. They seem to have a lot of random ideas like this. I do remember reading a few articles/talking heads saying they were on the way up though.
Aren't you in Florida? Yeah, if Gator has taught me anything, its that people from Florida have no idea what the fuck they're talking about when it comes to football.
In just shy of 75 hrs I will be sitting watching GB take the field for the Monday night game. I think I may pee my pants. SO FUCKING STOKED.
In just shy of who cares hours I will be watching the Vikings lose their ass off to San Fran. Gotta be honest, this is my upset pick of the year, but that's just because I'm a Homer...
If Green Bay loses, Shegirl shows her tits to the internet. If Seattle loses, I'll show mine. Or we can do a signature bet or something.
There is so much greatness going on in football with these morning games. Thank god I can stream Redzone. 49ers/Vikings, Tony Romo shitting the bed, Sanchez sucking, the Lions completely forgetting who they are, everyone remembering "Oh wait, Jeff Fisher is a good coach", Miami not sucking completely, or the Jets sucking really bad. So much greatness...
More excellent officiating: 1. Vikes run it on third down and get stopped at the line; runner fumbles after forward progress is stopped. 2. SF calls its final TO. 3. Harborough throws the challenge flag even though he just used his last TO. 4. Refs review the play anyway, count the fumble and give the ball to SF, and then give them their TO back.
The only game on TV here is Jets and Dolphins. What a boring game to watch. The Jets are horrible and Sanchez couldn't throw a decent pass if his life depended on it. I can't wait for the next games to start after this shit show.
Good grief, the end of this game is a complete meltdown by both teams. The final three minutes have had 4 possession changes; two fumbles by the Vikes and a fumble and INT by SF. Only missing Yackety Sax at this point. Edit: Lions-Titans; since when can you not advance a recovered onside kick? This is a new rule? Edit #2: Guess it doesn't matter, Lions just tied the game on a tipped hail mary.
The Colts fucked me Dead Pool wise. Bye bye $20, I will miss you. Dear $1,400 pot, I know we never met, but it would have been great. Also, has there ever been a weekend with this many down to the wire games? And 3 overtimes? This weekend is like footballgasm weekend. This weekend is the perfect example of why I tell people to fuck themselves when they say shit like "College Football is more exciting."
Yes, yes the Saints are just... that... bad. Holy shit. They made the Chiefs Offense look like last year's Packers and/or Patriots offenses. That is just embarrassing for the Saints. Week 3 and they can kiss the playoffs goodbye already. They might have the worst defense ever this year.
Yeah, I mean why would you judge a guy by his entire career when you can judge by one game? Stupid idiot board.
Yup, Minnesota just straight up outplayed SF; it wasn't a case of SF beating itself - at least for the first 57 minutes. The last three minutes were a comedy of errors for both teams.
Fuck these god damn refs in the Steeler game. They call back 2 of Heath Millers catches that were clearly good. And that last penalty before the Raiders second touchdown, fucking three (3) tres Oakland players were in motion at the same time and yet they call a neutral zone infraction when Pittsburgh jumps. What the shit?!
Denver just trying to knock Schaub out of the game at this point, back-to-back RTP penalties. Both legit.
My favorite was when they tried to call an illegal block on the kicking team at the beginning of the game. There was also a play in the jags game where the coach challenged a spot and then despite the replay clearly showing the ball about a yard and a half back from the spot they upheld the call on the field. I get that mistakes happen, but not knowing the rules and fucking up replay reviews is just inexcusable. Also, the colts then scored a TD on that drive when they probably would have punted. Jags won, but that could have easily changed the outcome. I still think the vikings' stock is going to plummet like a fucking meteor in the coming weeks, but a good win to be sure.
I was listening to one of the games earlier and they said the replay officials aren't part of the strike. Not sure how the replay works if an official on the field watches it or if they have someone in the booth who watches the replays.
