Wonder if Romo is going to bear the brunt of the criticism for his absolutely horrible O-line performance?
Yes. And the sad thing is he's going to be run out of town eventually, and go to a team with a decent line and NOT suck. And Dallas will be up a shit creek. Shittier creek. Fucking footballprocessfootballteamprocess bullshit. Jason Garrett is decidedly UNinnovative as a coach.
Well, Philly has been screaming for Foles to get a chance and start, and so far? He has played pretty damn bad, against a really shitty secondary in Washington. Suddenly Vick doesn't look quite so bad.
I put the chances of that at slim to none. He looks like a guy who knows he is out of a job. Edit: I know we've discussed whether or not receivers can make a QB or if the QB makes the receivers, therefore I present the case of Matt Ryan. Today, with Julio Jones injured, Ryan has passed for 301 yards and five interceptions. He seems to be doing everything he can to give the game to Arizona. Of his 301 yards, 123 of them are to Roddy White. So, does having Julio, White, and Gonzalez make Ryan better, or is Ryan making THEM better? In this case, I'd argue it is the receiving corp that is making the QB look good, and not the other way around, and today might be proof.
Is that Chad Henne's dick on the table? Did he just lay his dick on the table? Looks like he did. That shit is bananas. He's playing the game of his life with Jacksonville right now. Cardinals vs Falcons - Battle of the Birds just became a thing. Browns about to upset the Cowboys. And every thought these early games were boring.
Matt Ryan has benefited from being on a good team, but he certainly isn't bad. Remember the falcons were nothing before they drafted him. Can anyone figure out Freeman? He's great, then awful, then great again. I can't decide if I believe in him or not. The jags deserve to lose if they don't start Henne from here on out. He slipped a little at the end, but that single game was about 100x better than anything Gabbert has done. How is anyone saying Luck leads ROTY? Griffin just had a perfect game. Is this only because the colts have a better record? Griffin should be way ahead. Thank you Andre Johnson for compensating for the shitty performances from the rest of my fantasy players.
I feel like you have to say that even if you are considering it, though, just in case he stays. You don't want his confidence shot.
I don't think this is actually true, for a couple of reasons. (1) Henne hasn't really been that good. Going into today, his QB Rating was worse than Gabbert's and almost any other starting QB this year. Even today, he completed less than half his passes. (2) Gabbert has actually made a lot of improvements this year. He's better in every category, and his stats are relatively comparable to guys like Newton, Luck, Tannehill, etc. (3) What's the advantage to switching Henne? Lets face it, the Jaguars are not very good and won't be for some time. It's not like they make Henne a starter and suddenly they are in playoff contention. They're at least three years out, and Henne is not a young guy. He's also not likely to improve. Even if they win more under Henne this year (and I'm not sure that they do), who cares? Is having three wins that much better than two? As far as your second point, yeah, it's the record. Luck's also had some dramatic wins. But RGIII has definitely been the superior player. Especially since Washington is scoring about 5 points a game more than Indy.
Gronkowski broke his forearm on an extra point, apparently. Four to six weeks. Which is basically "see you in the playoffs."
That is fucking terrible. Now we're going to be seeing a LOT of Julian Edelman. Hopefully Hernandez doesn't try to rush back and really fuck himself up. NEXT UP VISANTHE SHIANCOE!
That scream you heard was the guy in my fantasy league that drafted Gronk in the first round, 5th overall. He just shit his pants and screamed, and posted the most profane rant I've ever seen on a fantasy football message board. Apparently he wants Bellichick to die for making Gronk a part of the special teams package.
After he had already been pulled from the regular offense, too. Expect rivers of crying about "running up the score" regardless.
Jay Cutler out with a concussion and so is Alex Smith depending on which source you believe. Battle of the backups anyone? If both starters are out does it make the game less of an indicator of which team is better or does it actually prove the better team based on everything else besides QB?
