Hey 'sack, how's that Romo hating going today? Glad your receivers decided to take the day off from catching the ball.
You know what's comedy? There have been four games this year where Peterson has rushed for more yards than Ponder has passed. That's got to be a record.
If I hadn't been there to watch it I would have never believed the cardinals were 4-0 at one point. I think the NFL record for largest margin of victory is 73-0. If Seattle had interest in breaking it today I bet they could, but they might as well have yanked their starters at halftime.
Wisenhunt should get fired for that. That was a pure ass-reaming. You couldn't get a fucking field goal? That's embarassing.
I don't give a shit who wins as long as Welker is quiet today and Aaron Hernandez catches another TD. It would give me the miracle comebacks I need to stay alive in both my fantasy playoffs. It won't happen. Fuck. I feel like if I watch I'll just end up screaming about the hundreds of dollars I'll miss out on and end up waking my kid.
Sorry Bro, at this rate they'll be able to resign Deion Branch off the street for the 100tth time and get him a TD also. Latino Gronk is making it rain on bitches! Woo!
It was five yards beyond him because he was impeded mid sprint. The one called on Hernandez was at least as questionable if not more so.
That call was fucked. Third and ten thrown up into double coverage. Let them play, already. Doesn't matter, anyway. Second time this year blown out on a nationally televised game by a quarterback and team who can handle pressure. Texans have some work to do.
Holy fucking shit. In no world should I be winning either fantasy matchup, but Hernandez's two TDs combined with Schaub and Welker's slow nights have managed to help me win in BOTH leagues (by a combined 3.5 points). I have a feeling my opponents are rage-throwing their computers right now. I also think Texan fans should be shitting themselves right now. There is a good chance this will be the AFC title game, and granted it will be in Houston next time, but they still got completely dominated tonight. The Broncos might make it interesting, but I just think these two teams are head and shoulders above the rest of the conference.
Atlanta? San Francisco? The Pats still lost to Arizona. At home. An Arizona team that just got fucking DESTROYED by Seattle. New England is still capable of completely shitting the bed. I'd also argue that the NFC has been the significantly better conference this year, to the point where it is much harder to come by wins in the NFC than in the AFC.
It seems like people really have to come up with excuses not to put the Pats #1. That offense is too good, and the run defense with Wilfork in the middle is dominant. The secondary isn't nearly as bad as the beginning of the season, due to some smart reshuffling. Injuries are really the biggest threat.
Are we pretending than San Francisco didn't tie St. Louis at home, lose to St. Louis on the road, and lose to Minnesota? The same St Louis team that New England embarassed on a neutral turf, and a Minnesota team that is led by Christian Ponder? And that Atlanta didn't lose to Carolina and New Orleans? Is that the game we're playing here? If you want to play pick-and-choose-the-worst-games, it doesn't fare much better for Atlanta or SF. And that Cardinals team the last two weeks looks nothing like what we saw when Kolb was under center. New England just trounced a top four or five team. One who, before tonight, held the league's best record. They've won seven straight and nine of their last ten, with several in dominant fashion and/or against playoff teams. And in case you weren't aware, Seattle is pretty damn good, especially against the sort of QBs that Arizona is trotting out these days. I'd agree about conferences for the first eight weeks, but recently? Chicago is looking less dominant of defense, SF looks lost, Atlanta is sliding into their rightful spot after a joke of a schedule, and who knows what the fuck is going on in the NFC East.
New England's secondary is looking so much better. Also, I enjoy watching Wilfork work. Even after losing some weight this year, he still looks like a giant nose tackle that you stick there just to anchor the line. Play starts, yep, big fat guy there to be big and fat. Then, boom, the center gets pushed 3 yards back, Wilfork sheds his block and suddenly appears in the face of the QB swatting his pass, or tackling the running back for a loss. I was surprised and a little disappointed at the route. I thought it was going to be an entertaining game. I mean, it was if your version of entertainment was watching Brady have endzone throwing practice, but I was hoping for some back-and-forth. I think Talib was a damn good pick up for them. Despite the domination by the Pats, JJ Watt spent an awful lot of time sitting on top of Brady, having gotten there only a fifteenth of a second after the throw.
