Made some KILLER homemade turtles (as well as a bunch of other candy, cookies, etc.) for Christmas. If I didn't work with a bunch of people who think it is my job to bring donuts in every Saturday we get stuck working (from October to end of January usually), I'd take some to work. The boss has actually scheduled me to work on some days just until 10am or noon, because the local bakery makes SO much better than Casey's. Nope, not that drunk yet, no updates to the threads, but it is a school night, so must resist.
That's what ecstasy is for. Not only does it release ALL of your endorphins (plus the people standing next to you) you also get the "runner's high" thanks to three straight hours of dancing with lots of arm movements. And an urge to rub your face on corduroy.
What exactly was suppose to be communicated in that fb post? I can't comprehend that statement at all, and yes I'm dead sober.
That last point is the only thing I've ever gotten from painkillers. I don't even bother anymore, Morphine or synthetic substitutes don't even affect me much more than a normal Panadol affects most people. I've always had a high tolerance to them so I avoided them wherever I could.
If I can assume that how my twin brother reacts to pain meds is the way I will, I've learned over the past 18 months that we don't tolerate pain meds, meaning they work for us and they are fun. Apparently he said phentonyl is a pretty good time. And before anyone jumps on me for this and doesn't know the back story, my twin brother has had a couple surgeries for a benign brain tumor over the past year or so and because of that has been on a pain med schedule while in hospital. From my personal experiences, percoset works, vicodin doesn't do crap.
OTC pain meds do a number on me. I took a 250mg aleeve for bad back pain a few weeks ago, and it made me a bit loopy. I should not have taken it before a final. One ibuprofen usually does the trick for me. Jägerette is the same. After she got her wisdom teeth out she got a script for Vicodin, and she was told take one pill. She broke a pill in half and took the smaller piece. It fucked her up. She was wandering around her house speaking German, and basically acting wicked fucked up and she hated it. It was that experience that kept her away from recreational drugs in college as she had no idea how her body would react to doses of random shit made in a Tijuana stable.
At least now I can be officially called a Broke-Ass White Boy. Now I get to go into work and no doubt get told by my boss I hade no business injuring myself on my own time.
Another Ft. Worth cop was arrested for DWI. He is the 19th since 2008. Irony of ironies: he was a traffic cop who was assigned to DWI enforcement.
"I know I've been acting like a total cunt toward you lately, but please don't hold it against me so I can know how whipped you are."
Maybe. Do we know how many times he played his "I'm a cop" card, before he was actually arrested? And before you say 'Oh, easy DixieBandit' - I would kindly remind you I know a hell of a lot of cops. I also know, personally and from first hand observation, some of them drive drunk and have gotten away with it by playing that card. Do I think ALL cops are bad? No, not at all. They do a tough job, no question about that. My point is there is a double standard applied to citizens and cops. I won't go into how fixing it would be accomplished here, my only point is the double standard exists and I have witnessed it on more than several occasions with my own eyes.
So school starts back on January 7th. I have a class from 7 pm to 8. This is going to interfere with my football watching schedule so chances are I'm going to miss my first session in this class. I'm a super student.
Holy Mother of God, have you seen the Boobie Thread lately? Check it out. And fucking rep it like your life depended on it.
I know a lot of cops and they say there's a gentlemen's agreement not to give each other moving violations, including DUI's. Either this guy got pulled over by a real tight ass or the arresting officer was really worried about leaving him to his own devices.
My guess is he was so shit-faced that any observance of the "gentleman's agreement" would have likely meant serious risk to his life or others.
I think we have a winner... <a class="postlink" href="http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/01/02/4520265/fort-worth-dwi-officer-arrested.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/01/02 ... ested.html</a>
