Back to Kanye... can anyone tell me wtf happened to him since MBDTF? Every verse he's dropped since that album has been total garbage in my opinion. It's like he's not even trying anymore. He stuff with Jay Z, Big Sean, etc. just all seems like pure nonsense and people are eating it up all over the place. His stuff on Watch the Throne was bad and Clique makes me want to shoot myself in the ears with a shotgun.
Apparently our new PUA friends are familiar with our alumni: http://www.pick-up-artist-forum.com/how-does-tucker-max-get-laid-vt125365.html?hilit=tucker max http://www.pick-up-artist-forum.com/is-tucker-max-a-pua-vt453.html?hilit=tucker max ...look, I'm telling you these guys are the biggest fucking punchline I have ever seen on the internet. I ask about cockblocking, they tell me "That's not a real PUA question". But "Why can't I talk to girls?" apparently IS a PUA question. Retards 'R' Us. If you want to have some fun, sign up with us. The place has virtually the same layout as here, but no rep (like that matters) and the worst grammar you have ever seen adult males dish out.
I have to agree with everything MoreCowbell says. This should probably go to the hip-hop thread but okay. Spoiler When music is being rated, what's the ratio between lyrics/technique and production? I'm going to argue that 80% of this album was to focus on the music, but it wasn't music he could rap on per se, so he did the auto tune thing. Now another thing is, is this album not liked because its not College Dropout? Is it because you don't like autotune? Is it because think he's not a good singer? Comparing his efforts to an RnB singer wouldn't be apples to apples. If this music is something that is in the wheelhouse of one's taste, it has to be rated on what it was trying to do, not what you wanted it to do. In regards of that metric, 808s hit its goals 100%. The only track that didn't hit its mark the freestyle last track. The entire argument that Dark Fantasy was a return to form is most likely misunderstanding of Kayne. This isn't insider information either, everything he's said about his last two albums and his GOOD Music Group is him pushing his boundaries. He doesn't want to have a form to return to. He's not going to be bringing out the same stuff. Given his control of the production, he sees a larger toolbox than most rappers. A conversation with my other friend about Watch The Throne and the discussion that it was a Kayne Album featuring Jay-Z on each track. We were talking about how Kayne was coming off 808s, coming off Twisted, then does WTT, in regards to the evolution of rappers, this analogy was presented. Most rappers like Jay-Z make pizza. They will focus on making better pizza. They will add toppings, go thin crust, pan style, and even deep dish, but it will always be pizza. They never do anything wildly different. Kayne is trying to make everything. 808s was quiche. Dark Fantasy was an artisan flat-bread, like pizza, but still different enough not to be pizza. Holy fuck that's a lot of pretension.
I've always wondered if I've fallen for being hit on by a guy who goes around calling himself a PUA. Dear god, I hope not. I'd like to think that the guys I am receptive to are not of the same ilk.
Juice we have struck gold, brah. My very first PM as a PUA: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyy godohmygodohmygod. I'm one of the worst typists on the TiB and apparently my wordyness is too big. In one post. This place is fucking Oz. Or Hell. Or the best Christmas gift I have received this year, I can't tell yet. My bro Argyle requested I play this:
Paging iczorro to the white courtesy phone... I did like one helpful tip they gave you: "You're confusing resistance with rejection." Like when a girl is struggling against the ziptie you've got around her wrists, and trying to kick you as you force her into your van, that's only resistance. Only when she finally escapes from the empty well in your basement is the rejection official.
This is it. I'm not even trying be an asshole with them yet, apparently people try to troll them a lot (shocker). I asked honest questions, but apparently I'm not supposed to give a shit about what a female thinks, in ANY way shape or form. Juice however, is NAILING it. Both his posts so far made me laugh my balls off. http://www.pick-up-artist-forum.com/understanding-that-female-psyche-vt152692.html
I guess, but I'm trying to bait them while sounding serious and exactly how do you ask advice from somebody if they're an idiot?
I have no idea. Isn't it 'Garth' the one you're after? Read his post and go from there? What are you trying to accomplish here, anyway? Here's some music from an underrated early nineties band.
Exactly what did Don Giovanni there mean by "neutrilized"? Lock her in the Nakatomi elevator shaft? Slug her right in the throat? Offer her a nectarine and even offer to cut it for her? What? I HAVE TO KNOW!!!!! Oh, I know: CHARM her. Yes, instantly charm the pants off of somebody that dislikes you immedietly. These guys are GENIUSES. Thanks, PUA forum! ...for the comedy.
