To further the point along, in another fantasy league I'm in, I have a 4-5 record. I've lost to the top 3 teams and 2 teams below me. There are 4 other teams with a 4-5 record, 3 of which haven't played the top 3 teams. I've beaten all of the other 4-5 record teams, yet I'm ranked below all of them because they lead me in total points. Right now I'm in 9th place because of this and would miss the playoffs. If it was a H2H record, I'd be in 5th place making the playoffs.
Stop trying to trade rape me. It's insulting and its upsetting your mother. Every bullshit trade you send me is another knuckle deeper I'm going into her anus.
Stop being stubborn and rejecting trades where you will have a better team. I'm trying to hand you wins and you are rejecting them left and right. I'm sure playing MJD and Mike Tolbert is going to get you out of 7th place.
Hey, I catch on fire late. I don't want anyone gunning for me. I like to creep up and scare people like Chris Hanson. "What you got there? Chloroform and cookies?"
Sure, it's "right." That was not the point. It's also stupid. Head-to-head tiebreakers make sense in actual sports, where you play defense and have direct competition. In fantasy sports, it borders on arbitrary and capricious.
Tiebreaking in fantasy sports should be done to determine the best team, and using some arbitrary record against opponents who were randomized is not the way to do that. How could Points For not be the best indicator of how good a team is?
I understand the argument for points for determining who has the best team, I just don't agree it's the metric that should be used to determine the standings. If you were going to judge on a point metric, it should be who has had the most points scored against them since they obviously had a tougher schedule than others and still won games. Until FF leagues come out with a mix of tie breaker rules, something like, Total record against all teams each week + points for/points against + W/L + average points scored, we are going to deal with H2H tiebreakers.
This fantasy match-up just got exciting. Down 14 with Brees, Jimmy and Kenny Stills vs Dez Bryant and Darren Sproles. It must hurt knowing you should have played Case Keenum over Cam Newton. This game is so exciting!
Fuckin Tavon Austin <a class="postlink" href="http://blogs.nfl.com/2013/11/10/the-week-10-kaboom-that-helps-no-one-tavon-austin/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://blogs.nfl.com/2013/11/10/the-wee ... on-austin/</a>
He was a shit running back to start with and the Browns are laughing all the way to their 2 first round draft picks next year.
