If you want to join, but likely won't be available for the draft, how will that work in the auction scenario?
You can pre rank your players for how much you want to bid (they already will have dollar rankings on them for if you don't rank your players.
I would not recommend missing the draft. I had to last year and I didn't pre-rank players. While I'm not familiar with auction style drafts I think being available for them is key. If anything gets put together I would be interested in trying to salvage what's left of my pride.
Auction drafts do kinda work out poorly if you miss them, because you end up putting together a team of scraps towards the end due to the computer's inflexibility regarding paying above value.
2013 TiB Fantasy Football Thread Since Chater/Kojack is MIA and I'm impatient, I figured I'd get this party going. Same idea as last year. 12 team league. Auction draft $50 Buy in for a total prize pool of $600 First place gets $400 Second place gets $150 Highest league scorer gets $50. I set the draft date and time already to avoid the usual wrangling of a time and date. It's just easier that way. It's going to run Sept 2nd at 8pmEST. I figured with it being Labor Day, work issues won't be as big of a deal. First come first served. If you are interested, send me a PM and I'll give you the Paypal info to send the money. Re: 2013 TiB Fantasy Football Thread I set the draft time for 8pm, but if enough west coast people can't make it, I'll switch it to 9pm to give everyone a little more time. The date however isn't going to change.
Re: 2013 TiB Fantasy Football Thread Date and time works for me, count me in the group for shorter selection times, 4 hours for a draft is crazy.
I set the selection times at 25 seconds for a nomination, 30 seconds for bidding and 10 seconds between last bid and sold. I think last year it was 1:00 for nomination, 1:30 for the bidding process that got reset to 20 seconds every time a last bid came in. This should speed things up significantly.
