You know, what's sad is that the Jags don't even have the worst attendance in the league. They were slightly below average, last I checked. People are turning out to see this shit.
Based on what, total attendance or percentage of sold seats? Because if I recall correctly, the Jags are doing the "cover sections of seats" trick in order to inflate attendance ratios.
I'm kind of pissed that my Beloved Cowboys don't play the Jags or the Bucs all season. We need easy wins, damnit.
I usually go see a couple of their games every year, but this year I'm thinking I'll skip it. Shelling out money to watch that shit fest would make me feel guilty. What the hell is happening in Seattle? Did not see this coming.
Considering they needed a last minute TD drive to beat the Vikings, who are terrible, I don't think there are any teams that will provide easy wins for the Cowboys.
The funny thing is that our division is so bad they have a very good shot of winning it. When was the last time the NFC East was this bad? I know they're not known as a elite division or anything but there's usually ONE team that's decent in it every season.
So are the eagles going to name Foles the permanent starter? He's thrown 13 tds with no picks, and just had a near perfect game. Plus, he's won 3 of the last 4. Granted, this was against some pretty crappy teams, but I really don't think Vick is the answer there.
First name, Russell. Last name, Wilson. Still, the first half of the game nearly caused my girlfriend to leave me, as I came down with a case of bipolar disorder.
Yeah, maybe next time he should just hold onto the ball in the endzone and take a sack to lose the game...
Yeah, it's just the Steelers, but it still feels good to drop 55 on em. Glimmer of hope for the postseason.
So, what do you all think about the Richie Incognito thing? <a class="postlink" href="http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/report-richie-incognito-threatened-jonathan-martin-life-used-180239513--nfl.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutd ... --nfl.html</a>
Sounds like an awesome teammate, exactly the kind of person you want on your team. If he is not immediately cut, I'd say that sends a pretty clear message to the rest of the team about the kind of organization they're running. No amount of discipline is going to turn that around - you just cut a cancer like that out of the team and move on.
Wasn't it just a little while ago where people were talking about the possibility of a football player coming out of the closet (as a result of the whole Jason Collins coming-out in the NBA)? Yeeeeeah....that's not happening anytime soon.
The whole Dolphins organization should be embarrassed they let this shit go on. That locker room must be the definition of a cancerous environment.
Just when I think the Bears have lost all hope in the NFC north, they go to Lambeau and pull out a win, even if it is against a Rodgers-less Packers. I'm not dumb enough to think the Bears win that game if Rodgers is in (if Rodgers isn't hurt that game is a blow-out), but a division win is a division win, and on the road in Green Bay is kind of huge. Every other year that game is a given for Green Bay.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!! If Wallace goes down, WE HAVE NO BACK UP!!! Jesus Christ. This is what happens when you count on one and one only. Why did they not get Flynn back when they could have??? Not that Wallace did terrible, but at least Flynn knows the offense better. Son of a Bitch, I am pissed. And, a division game, for fuck sake. The God Damn Bears. Correction, I am beyond pissed, I have no words for whatever I am feeling right now. I know this much, everyone in the office is staying away from me. I could punt a baby right now. Fuck.
