Also Garrett. Fuck your fucking process. A 23 point lead at the half. Logic dictates you'd want to burn clock during the second half. Number of run plays: 7. And yeah, he said Romo audibled out of one with 2:50 left in the game but come on. Especially since it wasn't like GB was actually stopping the run.
People say Tebow has bad mechanics, but I think Stafford has him beat. He hasn't throw a solid ball this whole game.
It all comes back to Jerry...who's bright idea was it to sign Romo to that enormous extension? And keep Garrett around even after Jerry neutered him offensively during the offseason? The defense....well, I don't really have to say anything else about that, it kind of speaks for itself. The only good thing is so long as we beat the Redskins it's win-and-you're-in time for the last week of the season...again(and quite frankly if we can't beat the Redskins in the sorry state that they're in, we don't deserve to be anywhere near the playoffs).
That side armed interception in the 4th was one of the stupidest throws I've seen in a long time. What the fuck was that.
I like how the refs can see indisputable evidence of a ball hitting the ground, yet still call it an interception. It wasn't like it was the 4th quarter with under 2 minutes to go.
So, I'm a little behind on the Romo narrative -- if he plays well against a very good team and then throws a pick in the last couple minutes he is Not Clutch, right? If he plays mediocrely against a very bad team but throws a td in the last minute is he still Not Clutch? Or is he Clutch now?
[ballsack]Homo is not and never will be Clutch. Homo will always lose the game. Homo sucks and is the suckiest of the suck except for Bellicheat, who sucks even more because he's a cheater.[/ballsack] I think I was close...
Rogers is starting, Lacey is in the line up and Matthews is out. I swear to God I'm going to stroke out before this game is over. Anyone that can tell me the start time, without any doubt the fuckers will change it, gets my elove.
If they were going to get them in, they'd have called some kind of pass interference on the pass to Boykin on the final pass play last week. There's too many variables to consider in order to fix the game to the extent you're thinking, injuries among them.
I'm just going to point out the fucking hypocrisy in the media and the bullshit that goes on here. First of all, that 50th touchdown by Manning wasn't a touchdown, Eric Decker was juggling the ball. Second of all, why the fuck isn't anyone giving Peyton Manning shit for "running up the score" ? The Patriots got all sorts of shit for putting up points and they left at least 7-8 more TDs on the field that would have locked in that fucking record. Its absolutely ridiculous the shit Manning is getting away with because the fucker does Papa John's and Buick commercials. Oh and no one really knows who John Fox is. If this was Brady and Belichick people would be having a shit fit.
How does that even make sense? I'd understand if it was some downtrodden NFL Franchise that came back and was putting up record numbers, but its Peyton Manning and the fucking Broncos. You can't say its not hypocrisy. There were articles bashing the Patriots, but, happy go lucky, awww shucks Peyton goes in even deeper, isn't even done yet, and no one is saying anything.
Peyton is personable and aw-shucksy. His commercials are funny, and he comes off approachable. Tom Brady is a sour faced guy who comes off as better than thou, unapproachable, whiny and douche. That fact that he dates/marries overrated supermodels doesn't help. People (even ones that aren't Broncos fans) like Peyton. People (even ones that don't hate the Patriots) dislike Tom Brady. That's why.
KIMASTER STYLE RED DOTS! ALL OVER RED DOT! RED DOT! RED DOT! I can't red dot you because I just greened you. Not that I'd actually red you, but still.
I would love to see the cowboys dump Romo because he can't get it done. Then this shitty 'super bowl or bust' every season team can get fully exposed for what it is. Romo has had a passer rating over 90 every year and this season he has 31 tds to 10 picks. Yeah, you can point to whatever desperation throw he's had to make in the last minute of a game at a time he had to force the ball into tight spots because the other team scored 30+ on that defense that totally isn't as big of a problem as Romo. Sadly, I don't think even Jerry Jones is stupid enough to actually drop him. Romo is the only reason the cowboys are competitive at all. They're a 4-12 team without him. And let's pretty please not go back to that pats running up the score stuff. I want to forget about every football discussion I ever heard in 2007. On the one hand I'm really excited that Rodgers is starting and assuming they win will be there in playoffs. On the other, whoever wins that game is probably one and done. The NFC north was just laughably bad this season. Every team tried to hand the division to the other, except the Vikings who were even worse.
