A poll for the ages regarding turkey: Dark meat or white meat? I am all in on the dark. Nothing beats a turkey drumstick.
Dark. I like going to the local fair and grabbing a big turkey leg. Theres something primal and good about eating meat off a bone you're holding. However, white meat on a fried turkey is dam good as well.
I like my women like I like my turkey meat. Mostly white, with a little bit of color thrown in. And VERY wet.
My mom just rolled up the leftover pie dough with butter and cinnamon sugar and baked it. Om nom nom.
Nothing. She just likes looking at your pokies. By the way, this cheap Asti Spumante is good. Let's mix it with gin and see what happens.
This and protein bars consist of all I have eaten today. Philalawyer was right about the Hendricks, my god this stuff is good.
I had the turkey breast propped up in a bundt pan that was resting in a glass casserole dish. It had been roasting about half an hour and I was going to put the meat thermometer in when I managed to shatter the glass dish. So now we have to wait for the oven and glass to cool off enough to clean it and then put the turkey back in. Jesus fucking christ I feel like a jackass. Fortunately it is just the two of us and nothing else had started cooking. We just roll with.
No further issues were had. I'll pack up the leftovers later. Already have plans for the stuffing. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.rachaelraymag.com/recipe/great-balls-of-stuffing/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.rachaelraymag.com/recipe/gre ... -stuffing/</a>
