Maybe I'm using the wrong term. We used to get paid on the 1st and 16th of each month. Now, its every other Friday. So now, its the same exact amount of hours in each check. The other way was sort of every 2 weeks, but there would be wide differences in each pay period.
Bi-weekly both means for every two weeks and every two months, doesn't it? Who besides hit-men only get paid every couple months? That's crap.
Bi-monthly = twice a month Bi-weekly = twice a week Semi-monthly = every other month Semi-weekly = every other week.
My favourite way to get paid was when I was a student working under the table at a ballet studio and on payday, the boss would come around with a cash box of ten dollar bills and pay me in little stacks of cash that she tied together with pink dancer elastics and put into a Hello Kitty envelope for me.
Beats the hell out of the job I had before that where I was a piano teacher for a sketchy pothead who owned the music studio in town. I showed up one day and there was a note on the door that said he had moved his family out of town because he feared for their safety, but that all the instructors were obligated to keep teaching because the parents had paid in full up front. I worked for six months for free for that douche. Never did get paid for it, actually.
You are way nicer than me, I would of said sorry, I don’t get paid, you don’t get taught. I get paid every Thursday, every week is nice.
I was 15 and too scared to tell my parents I wasn't getting paid because I didn't want them knowing that I had taken a job working for Sketchy McSketcherson.
Yeah, that would have been my easiest "go fuck yourself" ever. Sounds more like a coke head than pothead. Still, sketchy is as sketchy does. Never, ever trust a boss.
Close but you have it backwards, it's Bi-monthly = every other month Bi-weekly = every other week Semi-monthly = twice a month Semi-weekly = twice a week Think about it, the bi-centennial was the 200 year anniversary. I also use to tangentially work in HR so I am very familiar with the terminology. But basically semi-monthly (how X-ray use to get paid) means 1/24th of your salary per paycheck. Bi weekly means 1/26th of your salary per paycheck, so basically they're getting two more pay checks per year but slightly less per check. I had to explain this to a bunch of backwater hillbillies at my old job, it was a fucking nightmare.
Boom. Roasted.
More like 'Boom. Very Slow Roasted. But Still Done by 4p.m. to be consumed at Old Country Buffet.'
You little shits. I wasn't even here to defend myself. Just wait, I'm going to get a couple more drinks in me and I'm going to talk gibberish to you. You've been warned.
Thank God! I'm overdue for a new signature. Have at it, happy. Go with God. And wine. Gibberish away.
Apparently Brazil has a beauty pageant for the best ass in Brazil called MissBumbum. Here is the celestial object that won this year.
That's an awfully nice ass, but the best in Brazil? I've got to believe that there are better out there.
That ass is better looking than those from past years. The contest has some way to "authenticate" the realness of the asses but the last one was filled with obviously done ass implants.
America sent a contestant: Fuck those Brazilians. We got this. we got this in spades. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go sob uncontrollably into a beer.
