Fuck me, Mickey Rooney dead at 93: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-26917746" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-26917746</a> You know he was married to Ava Gardner? This is the world you live in. Mickey Rooney boffed Ava Gardner before she turned into a boozed out ashtray. Bang... the world.
A bit less famous than Rooney, but tubby comedian John Pinette also passed away. His standup was genuinely clean and funny, he was a true showman. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.post-gazette.com/local/city/2014/04/06/Comedian-John-Pinette-50-dies-in-Pittsburgh-hotel/stories/201404060212" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.post-gazette.com/local/city/ ... 1404060212</a>
Jesus, Sir Bob cannot catch a break. Her mother /his wife died of an overdose not that long ago. Sad.
Damn, that was out of nowhere. She was kind of a hot mess for a bit, but got it together it seemed like. Pretty sure she has two little kids too. You'd have to suspect drugs in some way, and if true, that's super sad.

That's crazy, I though he seemed a little shaky last night on Monday Night Raw. At least he got to really enjoy his last hours being inducted in the Hall of Fame and being at Wrestlemania.
We are running out of old nutjob pro wrestlers to idolize. Jokes aside, it is rather poignant he made these remarks just a couple days ago:
Not that anyone would even think to put this guy on their list, but... Gabriel Garcia Marquez, author of "Love in the Time of Cholera" and "One Hundred Years of Solitude", dead at 87. One less of the modern greats. Though I didn't like his work, I realize the loss to literature.
Maybe could have come up with a more pleasant title than "Love in the Time of Cholera". Perhaps Love in the Time of 80-year-old burn victims Having Sex"? But yes, a literacy legend none the less.
It does indeed take two to make a thing go right. RIP DJ E-Z Rock. http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=864390
Well there goes my hope for a Super Mario Bros sequel. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/apr/30/bob-hoskins-dies" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/ap ... skins-dies</a>
Or a sequel to Unleashed...... But seriously that sucks. Who Framed Roger Rabbit was one of my all time favorite films growing up. Super Mario Brothers is really a movie that gets shit on way too much (even he hated making it), but it was definitely the type of execution I like to see in films as far as taking risk and completely committing to an idea. Plus he was Smee. Not too many other actors graced my childhood with such great work.
Al Felstein, dead at 88. He's the editor that turned Mad magazine into an enormous pop culture staple.
