When one half of your RB situation is Matt Forte, I don't think you can call it "quite weak." Your team is totally fine, just keep an eye on the waiver wire for whoever looks to be good (maybe a better WR situation for your flex).

I don't like that trade. Bush loses touches to Bell and is an injury risk. Eli and the rest of the Giants seem to be imploding, and Cruz didn't exactly inspire confidence last year - I think he had single digit fantasy outings the entire second half of the season.

I see 3 people on that list that are better pick ups.
    Dwanye Bowe
    Charles Clay
    Nate Washington
All starters, all people who will fill in nicely when you are forced to have someone off due to a bye week.
I don't see any RB's in that list, but I'm sure there is a handcuff or two that people don't have that you can dump Stewart for.(Sankey, Rainey, etc)
It's all about being realistic with who you will actually play in your starting lineup.

AFH, do not make that trade.
Same goes for you, scour the waiver wire and pick up someone who can fill in during a bye week. Other than that, your roster is perfectly fine.

Thanks to all for the advice. You confirmed what I was thinking.

Hmm... Drop RGIII for Tony Romo? I mean, Romo was top-10 last season. RGIII didn't hit top-10 even if you take away the 3 games he sat out.

Romo just became available because of a bizarre move by someone in our league who dropped him for Eli Manning.

Tough call. At this point, they're roughly equivalent quarterbacks in my book, both bottom-end starters with potential to be better. RG3 has the slightly more favorable matchup this week, but not by a ton.

Do you have another backup or something? I don't think you need to drop RG3 week 1, especially if you don't have any other options.

I've got Dalton... and I'm not down on RG III based on one week, so much as I think Romo generally puts up better passing numbers. If I swap them, it's just speculative on the rest of the season, not because I'm desperate for a QB change.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Dalton is going to be a top QB this year.

    * RG3 is not long for this league playing for the redskins.

Thanks for the help last week. Now, back again with a mediocre RB quandary:

    10 yards rush/rec = 1 point, 1 catch = 0.5 point
Need to choose 2 to start:

Zac Stacy @ TB, CJ Spiller vs MIA, Reggie Bush @ CAR, or Matt Asiata vs NE

    Thoughts much appreciated...

Any thoughts on starting Asiata over Zac Stacy?

Seems hasty to me unless Asiata really shows something. The thing that people tend to forget or underweight about situations like this is that backups are usually backups for a reason. Most of them, when pressed into duty, will not give great results. Asiata had that one three touchdown game, but his per attempt numbers were a mixed bag. The touchdowns were mostly opportunistic that one week, since two of them involved pounding in balls from the 1 yard line..

Matt Asiata currently has 10 points per NFL.com

Yeah, glad I ended up putting him in. Looking back, what I should have done is keep Stacy in and use Asiata in my flex instead of Larry Fitzgerald. Even then, I wasn't going to be competitive this week since my opponent had Jimmy Graham, Julian Edelman and Sammy Watkins. I guess it just gives me some more options for next week. I really have a feeling that Peterson isn't coming back this year.

Speaking of which, I almost feel bad for my brother-in-law, (except that I play him next week) since he had AJ Green, Peterson, Ben Tate and RGIII all in his lineup going into this weekend.

How does the #1 D/ST score negative points? My Kaepernick/Davis team better make up for it.

Oh, and I have Antonio Gates.....but on my bench.

    Fuck me.

If a defense gives up too many points then they lose points off their total score. If they don't have any sacks, int,or fumble recoveries than their total score will be in the negative.

Oh, I understand ''how", I just don't understand how in the karmic sense of the word. Kind of like how can my WR who is injured and not supposed to play so is sitting on my bench have just scored a TD?

Thank you Dalton, Nelson and Graham.

I now have 130 points to my opponent's 88, and still have Wayne going tonight.

I guess RGIII made my agonizing about dropping him for Romo a little easier.

I feel as if I'm faced with Parker's worst nightmare: Choosing between two Patriots. Julian Edelman or Gronk in my flex spot. Against Oakland as well.
