Pats really did an amazing job containing the Colts defense. Hilton held for 24 yds. Wayne held to 91 yds and half of that was on one play. They had to rely on Fleener over and over who isn't exactly Gronk. Jonas Gray looked like a beast but I wasn't seeing a whole ton of yards after contact so I think he's just another plug-and-play into the Pats scheme, like Blount.
He was getting a few YAC here or there, but it's the guy's first year really getting going. He's not going to be Beast Mode immediately. He really looks good, then again, Gronk and Vollmer were opening the world to him. Gronk gives no fucks. Jesus Christ, watching this guy play these last few weeks has been breathtaking. He is denying the existence of grown men who get paid to play football as he is running to the end zone. Even my GF who doesn't even watch or care about football, looked up and thought "Holy shit, that guy just got killed." Then she saw this and thought she was clever. 2015 Free Agency is going to be really fucking interesting. Ben Tate got cut, Adrian Peterson is 99% most likely going to be cut (moral issues aside, financial reasons), DeMarco Murray and Marshawn Lynch are going to be free agents. Where are these guys going to go?
Murray is going to get a big payday. The rest are going to get a good contract from someone but Murray is younger than Peterson and Lynch, and has no history of personal problems (whereas Peterson obviously has this legal issue and Lynch has a history of being a troublesome personality). Someone is going to give him a lot of money.
I don't think McCarthy is a bad coach, but I don't see why he constantly finds it necessary to throw on 4th and short. When it's less than a yard just pound it forward. No need to get fancy.
The Patriots give no fucks about playing against the 1st overall rated defense. 21 points in the first half? No problem.
Hell no. As long as he's allowed to play, we still want him. Everyone else can claim "Beast Mode" if they want, because they need gimmicks and hype. AP is just better than them. If the Vikings cut him, it wouldn't make any sense. Football is a business, a business where you make money by winning. We are more likely to win with him on the team. He may have lost a lot of his personal endorsements, but the team shouldn't be hit financially all that much. Unless they decide it's time for a "rebuilding phase" with Teddy B. as the centerpiece. But they'd still be a fool to drop AP.
He's going to be about 15 million on their books. They can save 13 million if they cut him, that's all I'm saying.
We get it. You picked up on piece of hilarious internet grammar. Time to give it a rest. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=253528&p=529472&hilit=gives+fucks#p529472 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=126597&p=507475&hilit=gives+fucks#p507475 viewtopic.php?f=8&t=107697&p=362609&hilit=gives+fucks#p362609 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32633&p=355941&hilit=gives+fucks#p355941 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32633&p=353000&hilit=gives+fucks#p353000 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=253528&p=529940&hilit=give+fucks#p529940 viewtopic.php?f=1&t=242712&p=487206&hilit=give+fucks#p487206 viewtopic.php?f=8&t=130238&p=425643&hilit=give+fucks#p425643 viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9326&p=398984&hilit=give+fucks#p398984 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32633&p=348034&hilit=give+fucks#p348034
I don't think they'd be foolish to cut a running back who will be 30 years old, cost them $15m, and is coming off a season where they paid him most of the year to not play after he beat his kid. I mean, he's a very good running back but realistically, $10m+ in investment in the offensive line and a much cheaper running back is going to net you a pretty big chunk of what AP got you, while also improving your quarterback play. There's certainly a case to keep him, I just don't think cutting him is an unreasonable or foolish option.
Right now the chances of the Vikes keeping him are better than may appear based on just his age and cap value. They don't have anyone in line for a big contract extension until 2016, and the 2015 free agent market for lineman isn't very impressive. I certainly don't want them to break the bank paying for middle of the road offensive line help. The Vikes may end up keeping Peterson for at least one more year simply because there's no better place to spend the money. If they do keep him for 2015, then they'll definitely either cut him or restructure his contract for 2016, since Harrison Smith will be due for an extension, as well as Matt Kalil (though whether or not Kalil will actually earn an extension is another matter.)

I'm sure Seattle fans are happy, but these games were a bit of a let down given how good they looked on paper. Hopefully GB beats the pats Sunday. I really couldn't stomach losing the division to Detroit.
Fuck you Adams. Fuck you fuck you fuck you. And the fuck the refs for that bullshit defensive penalty that led to the last patriots touchdown.
Things are not looking good for our heroes with under 4 mins left in the game and this current Pats drive. And Gronk's catch is incomplete...
