I just saw this, thought it was fitting considering the game tomorrow. I wish it was Amanda Kessel in a bikini, sadly its not. Phil is one of those people where if he's on your team great, if he's not you probably hate him. The guy is an undeniable goal scorer though. Hard to replace someone like him. Spoiler
As a sabres fan? Yes. It's what gets me through the fact that we're the worst team of the last 5 years. That or feet in creases for cup winning goals.
Hey Edmonton is arguably worse. You guys have that, you're the second worst team in the league. But then again Edmonton has won several Cups so maybe being not the worst still stings quite a bit.
Speaking of drunk people and being pissed off, apparently the Austrian hockey team was out partying and drinking until 6am the day of their 4-0 loss to god damn Slovenia. Vanek and the other NHLers were apparently involved too and there's a lot of heat on Vanek since he was the team captain as well. How fucking stupid and selfish do you have to be? http://mweb.cbssports.com/olympics/eye- ... final-loss
It was the night after their win. So played on Sunday, got hammered Sunday night/Monday morning, were flat for their game on Tuesday night. I don't condone it, but its not like they were drunk 12 hours before puck drop. Honestly, Vanek has probably done it a hundred times in the NHL, but you can afford to drop games in the NHL.
Here we go, kids. Price and quick are in net. May the best team win, because without a doubt these ARE the two best teams and should be playing each other for gold instead of this semifinal shit.
Sweden beat Finland? What the fuck? I guess in rivalry games how teams played earlier doesn't matter.
I am shocked at how dead Kane has been for scoring. I pictured him leading the tourney in scoring and not a single goal yet.
They have super-fast breaks but not keeping the offense up. I'm surprised at how much offensive pressure Canada has put on.
