Jamie Benn, the kid a lot of people up here didn't want. Awesome. Surprised that shot came from Bouwmeester.

Quick is just unreal at getting low to the ice to see through a screen. That's Spidey shit right there.

Looks like Brian Burke is doing his Boris Yeltsin impression. Fuck you, greasy scumbag.

Puck goes through Price, just misses the net. Wow. The Americans are too structured on offense, they need more flow. Too much one and done.

Apparently I'm posting on here like I'm on Twitter, weird.

This game is a fucking heart attack. A defence lover's wet dream.

I just realized that my jaw was pretty much clenched for that entire game. Jesus, Carey Price is incredible.

Price looked solid, not great. He played his game, which is all about structure and technique. The Canadians played a decisive game. Their defense was stout, their forecheck was exhausting, and the puck possession made the Americans chase. It was a 1-0 game, but it felt much further away than that for me.

Quick was the better goalie, he was an ass-saver so many times. That was Price's best game yet, but the forechecking won it for us. The USA defence has to be dead tired.

Yeah, me and Carey have 15 mutual facebook friends, no big deal. I've never even met him though, so it really isn't a big deal...

It's so strange that that was a semi-final game. It also sucks that the gold medal game is at 4 am for me, but what can you do? Not stay up and get drunk at 4 am on a Sunday?

I just saw that bars in Toronto are allowed to open at 7am. If London doesn't get its shit together by tomorrow I'm going to drag my ass to Toronto to watch in a bar with some buddies there.

Nothing's open. The owner of the Oarhouse said he's not allowed to open. Such bullshit, drinking by laws are pure faggotry in this town.

In Toronto it was a city council vote that made it happen, so I'll hold out hope that someone moves that motion here as well...though our city council is fucked, so I doubt it'll happen. I guess Joe Kools is gonna be open, just not serving alcohol. They're doing reservations now but I dunno how long until they're booked solid.

And just to keep it on topic...did anyone see the Sweden Finland game? Did the Swedes look good or was it a pretty flat game?
