I imagine Canada should roll Sweden tomorrow if they play the way they did today. The score was only 1-0, but they really did play great. Then again I thought Finland would roll Sweden, so maybe I've been underestimating the IKEA nation.
The problem is that all of Canada is counting this chicken before it hatches. And if they lose, there will be riots (in Vancouver, probably).

PRice is mediocre. Canad'a's team defense is outstanding, sad as I am to say it, fucking excelent, but Price fucking sucks, I stand by the fact that Canada's goaltending is 6th best in the tournament. Although I overestimated the importance of that factor, it's a single elimination tournament and anyone can get hot for a week or two (Michael Leighton in the 2010 playoffs for example) and Price has played well in this tournamkent.......but still fucking mediocre,go Sweden
And for the recrod I fucking love Canada as a country, just hate their hockey team. Sorta like Mexico soccer, except I'm indifferent to Mexico as a country, don't really love them.
I do find it funny that some Canadians have been really annoying since they won. Its like part of the country expected them to lose, so when they didn't, they decided to make fun of Americans instead of admitting they're relieved they won. Unfortunately for Canadians, the US losing isn't a big deal for the vast majority of the country. Hell, even a hockey fan like myself hardly gives a fuck.
Well yeah, that's how these things go. Are you trying to tell me if the US had won there wouldn't be some really annoying Americans? For what it's worth though, I will go on record saying that I am relieved. Both teams are stacked; it doesn't matter which side of the border you're on, if sat down to watch that game thinking the other team didn't stand a chance, you're crazy.
Well if it makes you feel any better, Americans have been really annoying since before they lost, and they continue to be annoying now that they have.
