So the chiefs are looking good, huh? Won the last ten straight in the regular season and they just dominated Houston. I still think San Francisco made a mistake in letting Alex Smith go. Luckily for him Kansas City is built perfectly for his QB style. I would be worried if I was New England, especially when you consider the way the pats finished the season.
That second half saved them momentum and perception wise. For how fucking horrible Houston played in the first half, KC having only 13 pts, when 7 came in the first 20 seconds, was a joke. But the offense looked good in the second half and the D played well. Maclin's status will be BIG though. Can't put it all on Kelce. As for Alex Smith, I think he desperately needed a change of scenery. Hindsight is 20/20, but I don't think he was ever going to succeed in SF. He's smart and accurate, but his lack of arm strength makes him more of a niche QB. I agree though about KC being a perfect spot for him.
To me he was already succeeding in San Francisco. He was having a great season when Kaepernick replaced him. The year before that he got the 49ers to the conference championship, played a solid game, and just barely missed the super bowl. He'll never be a Peyton Manning or Drew Brees caliber of player, but I think he is underrated. In any case, I'm looking forward to the game next with NE next week. KC has a decent chance of knocking them out.
That crap fest that was the Bengals game and now the Shankapotomus shows up for the Vikings (laces out!). This is going to be a weird run to the Super Bowl. Should be a Patriots cheating scandal any day now. . .
Ok, I'll throw my predictions for the games up. Seattle v. Carolina: I think Carolina wins this, but barely. Hopefully, for Cam Newton, this is the year he starts really producing in the playoffs like he did this past regular season. Green Bay v. Arizona: I actually think this will be a much closer game than the Week 16 shitfest that saw Green Bay get bitched slapped like Rihanna during a Chris Brown video. Kansas City v. New England: I'm calling the upset here. I think the Chiefs are too hot, and while I despise NE, Belichick is a master, but I don't think even he has the pieces due to injuries. If KC gets at Brady early, it's going to be a long day for NE. Pittsburgh v. Denver. I'm a huge Denver fan. However, Peyton is the starter, so if I follow the stats I have to say Denver is one and done. I really want Denver to win, but I think Peyton's last game in the NFL will be one of his ugliest. (I really hope I'm wrong).
As a Vikings fan, this is the type of shit I always expect, but then I let my hopes get up, and then I'm disappointed every time.
Yea, but that field goal was shorter than the extra point. That's normally a gimme. But the ball positioning was horrific. Did I read that the kicker is taking full responsibility? Or was the holder taking fault? I don't remember.
No, I think Adrian Peterson was taking the blame for fumbling and putting them in the position for that kick to even matter.
Rams approved to relocate to LA, with the Chargers being given the option, to share what will be an almost 3 BILLION dollar stadium. http://www.latimes.com/sports/nfl/la-sp-nfl-los-angeles-owners-meeting-htmlstory.html
Good. The Rams belong in LA. Can they please move the Cardinals back to St. Louis now? All this moving around leaves me confused. Seriously, has a cardinal ever been spotted in Phoenix? Same thing with the Utah Jazz. Yeah, Utah is widely known for their smooth Jazz music. Christ. At least rename the team the Utah Door Knockers or something relevant.
