I just watched the giant douche/turd sandwich episode of South park, and I honestly can't wait to see what they do with trump winning
I wonder how long they will do these whole season arcs? PC principal was great last season and Cartman with a girlfriend is hilarious this season.
I think I remember reading somewhere that they were getting burnt out on doing the show and the serialized stories were something they were doing to mix it up and stay interested. I imagine they'll stick around as long as Matt and Trey enjoy doing them.
Matt and Trey are impressive as hell for keeping it going this long, crazy to think they started in 1997. Since I got a deer last weekend I think I'll relax and catch up on the new seasons of It's Always Sunny and will get out again next weekend.
It is in its 20th season, but honestly I hope Parker & Stone put their focus into other entertainment. Their movies (Cannibal!: The Musical, Orgazmo, Team America) I thought were hit and miss for me, but Book of Mormon is the funniest play ever made and it rocked the Tonys. It's not just funnier than any musical, it's funnier than every musical put together. I'm shocked it isn't a feature film yet.
My office is closed in honor of Veteran's Day, both my company owner and his son are Veterans. However, my significant other's company is open, even though the majority of the employees are Veterans. I am trying to get him to leave early. He works more hours than necessary, and they enjoy trying to abuse him because he is salary. Pictures aren't working on him, either is calling him unsupportive of Veterans. Any other ideas? I want to take advantage of my day off with sex and day drinking. Yes, I am selfish...
I've seen the Book of Mormon twice. Both times I wanted to see it again immediately after, but didn't because it cost $150 a pop. I wish they would make a theatrical run. In contrast I haven't enjoyed south park in a few years. I enjoyed it more when it centered around a story with bits of current events sprinkled in. Now it seems to whack you in the face with current events and the story comes second.
We need some happy news. A British company created a VR film for a 91 year old WWII vet of the town in France he helped liberate. He was able to virtually visit the town, watch children sing to him, and the mayor present him with a medal. http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2016/11...rench-town-liberated-via-virtual-reality.html
When you retire as a teacher in New Zealand, you get the magnum opus of all goodbyes: ...it's such a badass thing to watch. For the Maori kids it's like electricity in their veins. My friend played for our national rugby team. And for "the best moment of his life" he got to stand across the field from You-Know-Who. And my favourite thing he said: "I never took greater pleasure in getting run the fuck over. There is no tougher man on Earth than a Maori."

Anyone got a suggestion between a peg leg crutch and a scooter? Going to need something to get around with.
Those guys run up K2 like Super Mario with Wonderbread bags on their feet, the can take a little heat. Buy them some buckaroo hats.
They're probably cheap enough that they're disposable, so just get a baker's dozen of them and swap them out when they're done. Odds are it'll be a Federal tax break for you soon enough.
Veterans' Day is always pretty solemn for me. I'm kind of a rarity in that both of my parents served. Besides them, at least 8 of my Uncles served, covering all 5 services. My Uncle O'Neil gave his life in France as a 20 year old Army medic in WWII. He ran into a mine field four times and carried his fallen buddies back to safety. He went back a fifth time and stepped on a mine himself. At 20 years old, he was a better man then I will ever be. He was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, one step below the Medal of Honor. I wish I could've known him.
