Another musician. "MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis native Maurice White died at the age of 74. White's brother told The Associate Press that Maurice died at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday. White founded Earth, Wind & Fire in the late 1960s. The group sold more than 90 million albums. The band's biggest hits include "September," "Shining Star," and "Boogie Wonderland. Earth, Wind & Fire won six Grammys and went into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000."
