Every now and then an artist will pass away that really hits you. This is one of them for me. One of the last true country greats.
Sorry if I'm late to the party.. But my 2016 prediction: Johnny Manziel http://www.sportsnet.ca/football/nfl/manziel-accused-trashing-mansion-crazy-party/
Doris Roberts dead at 90. Best known for her role as Ray's Mom on Everybody Loves Raymond. News flash: Not everybody did. She was funny though. I say her and the Dad were the best part of the show.
Wrestler Chyna, dead at 45. I'm gonna presume drugs. I think this makes her the 6th or 7th of Dr. Drew's "celebrity " drug addicts to pass. Not a great survival rate.
Bond film director Guy Hamilton at 93 This guy did Goldfinger, Diamonds, Live and Let Die, and The Man With The Golden Gun. Without this guy we might never have ever seen a 3 nippled villain.
Jesus Christ, this year! Is EVERY musical star who hit fame prior to 1990 going to kick the bucket? Will Axl even make it through the little GNR tour before he dies? This just won't end. PS - Never a big Prince fan, but still. That's dying young.
...who once again became Prince, but never stopped being one of the greatest musicians and performers, ever. It's so messed up. So endlessly talented and innovative. Weird yes, but one of the true greats.
