Those were some pretty minor inconsistencies given the typical problems of eye witness testimony. And what the fuck kind of evidence of falsification is 'witnesses did not appear shaken enough'. Lochte is dumb as shit, so if his time is off by only a couple hours that's a miracle anyway. It sounds like Brazil is embarrassed and pulled this out of their ass to save face. Isn't Brazil known for having issues with their Judicial System? Sounds like the government was embarrassed that something like this happened, so instead of investigating a crime they're picking apart these guys stories. Its really easy for details to not be exact, I think this is well known. Tell someone what happened just after a traumatic event and then ask then 2 days later what happened I promised no one will tell the exact same story. These guys likely had a few drinks in them at the time, of course their stories are slightly different. I don't think thats a crime, thats how shit goes. Saying Lochte didn't look sufficiently traumatized is such utter insanity. Instead of making their country look better the government is making themselves look even worse.
