Roger Ailes died,....moving on. He sounds like a genuinely bad guy and yea in that way he was interesting, but imagine how many people he stepped on or sexually harassed in his lifetime.
Maybe its too soon. Robin Williams passed in a similar way and I didn't see anyone posting this song, granted I get the irony.
I'm surprised no-one mentioned him here yet, but Nicky Hayden, The Kentucky Kid. He was the 2006 MotoGP World Champion; he was also the most recent American World Champion in the sport. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicky_Hayden
I did not think anyone here would really know him. I saw his first professional roadrace in Colorado Springs in 1997 right after he turned 16. I also got to see him race superbikes in the US and both his US GP wins in 2005 and 2006. I am going to have to go through my old racing posters to see if I happened to get his signed back in the day.
Octopussy is my favourite Bond film. A go for broke action-comedy that throws in everything but the kitchen sink. Moore wasn't the best Bond, nor the most athletic, but still very solid as the most stoic and stone-faced of all Flemming's versions. Moonraker...... I still can't explain that one if I wanted to.
I loved Golden Gun, and let's face it: For Your Eyes Only was straight-up from the source classic Bond. One of the very best 007 films.
