Wow. The Chiefs just released Kareem hint https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1068684506402643968?s=19
The Chiefs knew about the incident in some way awhile back, asked him directly about it, and then when the video came out, found out he lied to them. I think that's why they reacted that way so quickly.
Not sure why this took so long but... Packers have fired Mike McCarthy and named Joe Philbin interim HC. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1069381248932552708?s=19
Well fuck me with a chainsaw, never saw that one coming! I mean, he needed to be fired, but I figured there was no way in hell it was gonna happen. I thought there was a 50/50 chance they traded Rodgers before they fired McCarthy.
The team quit on him a while ago. There was no way this season was going to end well. The play calling has been horrible, not to mention the old stale play book itself. No offense (we all know a QB can't do it all), a defense that cannot finish a fucking tackle to save their life, a kicker that is, shit I have no idea WTF is going on with Crosby. I'd say a slump but it seems worse. My thoughts are it's about fucking time. That's the first thing I said to the SO. The second was WAIT! What if Bruce Arians....he looked at me and said the only team he's said he'd coach for is Cleveland. I guess I get it but still, CLEVELAND.
In case you didn't see Henry's run (likely, because, who the hell was watching Jax v Ten?) http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-cant-...iss-Play-Henry-goes-BEAST-MODE-for-99-yard-TD 47 points in my fantasy league, and nobody had him on their team, because:
Is there a more disrespectful move in any sport than the stiff arm? The only thing I can think of that comes close is Iverson stepping over Ty Lue.
You're cheating. Being a browns player is disrespectful in itself. Aside from that particular play being ruled unsportsmanlike conduct, gotta give him props for going out of his way to jump and kick him in the face. It would have been easier to simply run around the dude. Reminds me of this play, where one of my favorite players ninja kicks one of my least favorite:
Gronk tripping over his own feet was one of the most gronk things ever. Also, how stupid do you think the Raiders feel (and how pissed off do you think their fans are?) for letting Cooper go? The pick was a nice return, but there's enough tape on him in Dallas now that he was clearly wrongly utilized in Oakland. And that's with him playing for a shitty coach.
I have no clue what Gruden is doing in Oakland. It's gotta be an ego thing, why else would you trade young in their prime stars? Raiders fans should be calling for his head.
He's playing for Vegas, not for right now. He figures that 10 year contract means he has forever so he's doing what the 76ers did in the NBA. But the NFL isn't the NBA, and their fans aren't the same either. I'd be shocked if he lasts longer than 3 years.
