Rush was one of the first bands I really remember getting into. I think I was introduced to prog rock bands like Yes early in my life so Rush seemed like a natural progression. Heavier than Yes, but longer tracks, superb musicianship, and spacey lyrics have always been pretty big pluses whenever I look into trying a new band and Rush definitely checked all of those boxes. When I finally made the decision to stop working for my dad and move to Chicago, this was a song I was listening to repeatedly. While I did get to see them in concert (twice), I'm definitely gonna regret not catching them the last time they made their way through here. RIP Neil. You can hang with By Tor, the Snow Dog, the Necromancer, and the Priests of Syrinx in the big limelight in the sky.
Terry Jones, of MPFC fame. I guess these fellas ARE getting up there in age. Still sad. https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/ne...-jones-has-died-aged-77/ar-BBZdudx?li=BBnbfcL
Initial reports are the others on the helicopter were his daughters. But we all know how accurate initial reports are.
Holy shit. An MSNBC reporter just called the Lakers the “Los Angeles Niggers” while reporting his death. https://twitter.com/2020thoughts_/status/1221533053597704192?s=20
