Man, does GB's offense look like shit today. Halfway through the 3rd quarter and they have 60 yards of total offense. They'll make the playoffs. I just really don't know that they're a team built to do much when they get there.
I saw some interesting info re: Seattle and SF Meanwhile, the only real pass defense Russ has played against was Baltimore. Speaking of which, Seattle has no defense anymore. Unless Carroll manages to fix the pass rush, Jimmy is going to set his arm to “well done” and torch the secondary. I can’t wait for Monday. It feels like this is going to be a real measuring stick for how good both teams really are.
PS. That was the both the greatest and shittiest played game I've ever seen. I also hope Clowney plays like this for the rest of his career and we give him a bunch of money.
That was one of the greatest regular season games I've ever witnessed. One of the trainers at my gym is really into sports betting but has shit for brains when it comes to where to place those bets. Like you could literally make a shitload of money just by doing the opposite of his positions. So when he asked me what I thought before the game I told him never to bet against Russel Wilson. He's now a few thousand dollars richer and I wouldn't be surprised if he still has a hangover. Also, this season has been wildly entertaining. Maybe it's because I don't have any die-hard loyalties to any team (I'm a Seahawks and Cowboys fan in a general sense), but holy shit is the NFL putting an awesome product on the field. Granted, most of those players are the walking dead with all the concussions and CTE, but I try to brush those thoughts aside on Sunday Monday and Thursday.
Speaking of which, holy shit Myles Garrett, what is you doin'? You gotta believe he's done for the year.
I've had mixed emotions about the Dolphins winning two in a row. The odds of them getting the 1st overall pick are pretty slim at this point. On the other hand, they may have finally found a good head coach. They are playing with easily the least talented group in the NFL but are improving each week. Also the least penalized team in the league at the moment. The rest of the year and next years draft will be interesting.
It looks like Tua has the same hip injury that ended the career of Bo Jackson, which is obviously a huge bummer not only for him, but for his team and whomever has the first pick.
Video opens with the announcers asking when Tua will be done for the afternoon. Dude could have his career ended before it really began. Ouch.
That game was a clusterfuck from the first series. Apparently having a fucking buy week at all is bad news. They fell apart, like into a million little pieces apart. Honestly I don't know that it would have been much different because the Niners dline is pretty bad ass. Who knew.
I don't get how it is that every preseason the cowboys somehow convince everyone that they have the best roster in the league, and they're going go be totally unstoppable, and all this hype that never comes to fruition. This team has been complete dogshit in the playoffs for more than 2 decades. Right now they are at best barely above average, if even that. I don't see Dak as elite either. How does he belong in the top tier with Rodgers, Wilson, Brees, Brady, Mahomes (and arguably Jackson)? He doesn't. He's good, but in the second tier with guys like Rivers. It's kind of amazing that with 5 games left for most teams we already know all the NFC playoff teams. Even if the rams win out (and they won't) there's a very good chance they wouldn't get in. The seeds are undetermined, but the only spot really left up for grabs is between the eagles and the cowboys who will fight it out to decide which will get sent home in the wild card round instead of week 17.
Jason Garrett has to have some golden shower-level black mail on jerry jones. No other way to explain how he still has his job.
