    Wow... this one is right out of left field, and hits a bit hard. Older than I thought he was, at 49, but man, brain aneurysms are fucking ruthless.

    Loved what he brought to Mythbusters... and Battle Bots.

    Not just operated... dude was also the main tech (Artoo Technician) behind them... upgraded/maintained all the remote control systems, etc. One of the reasons he went to Mythbusters was that the physical modelling/animatronics role at ILM he had was shrinking due to expanded use of CGI.

    Yup. The Fat Guy outlived many of his healthier or younger “Cocoon” co-stars. Including Brian Dennehy.

    although to be fair, Brinkley was cast as a senior citizen at 49 years old for that movie. He has ALWAYS looked old.
