Is the Covid talking? Because that's crazy talk. OSU QB's suck. This is my stance until one of them proves me wrong.
I was making a joke. Had high hope for Cardale Jones, is he even in the league now? Hated haskins there and hate him now, waste of a pick.
My phone is blowing up. Reports that Rodgers wants out of GB, saying he could possibly be traded as soon as tonight. The Raiders and Niners are interested. Two left coastey teams. Hmmm, isn't his new squeeze on that same coast! They say it's for a few reasons but no mention of her. I. Need. Alcohol. Now.
I don't believe it, but if he's not traded tonight there's no way they actually trade him. The reigning MVP of the league is going to be worth so much trade collateral that I seriously doubt the Packers are going to want to wait 12 months for their first payment. They're going to want something big this year. Especially if they think Love is the guy, and with so many QBs potentially going, it's a good draft for a team that doesn't need a QB to get a premier talent without having a draft slot in the top-5.
Three things that are sure things in life: death, taxes, and the Dolphins fucking up the draft. Waddle over Sewell? GTFO here.
I don't claim to be an expert on prospects but I do not at all understand how Fields is on the board after both Carolina and Denver have made their picks. He must really not have evaluated well.
I like how he took that resigned sip of beer before he got off the couch to put on a Bears hat. Also: pats taking an alabama qb is the most pats thing ever
San Francisco 49ers take Trey Lance with the third pick. I realize he is supposed to have a huge upside, but he also has only played in 17 college football games and all at the 1aa level. At least they did not take Zach Wilson. I know Joe Montana played many seasons with the same kind of build as Wilson, but Montana did not enter the NFL already having had major shoulder surgery. I hope I am wrong, but I just do not think he will be able to withstand a 17 game season for very long. Jets are the Jets for a reason I guess.
1AA, but same school as Carson Wentz. Mac Jones only started 17 games at Alabama. I'm not lobbying one way or the other, but in the interview SVP did with Lynch/Shanahan, they seemed pretty certain he's their guy, even with the small resume.
I'm nervous about this pick. I like Jimmy G. and think that if he stays healthy he will get us to another Super Bowl. However, him staying healthy seems like a big IF. Admittedly, I don't know a ton about Trey Lance but from everything I have read, I'm not sure he was the right pick.
no one knows a ton about trey lance. They were really feeling themselves and trying to get cute. Fields should have been the pick there, and they'll regret it.
This feels a lot like the Mitch Trubisky pick to me: right size, good skill set, but not enough experience and Lance certainly didn't face top-tier competition. This whole draft has been weird as hell.
