Maybe at this point it's just a bunch of old dudes wearing colostomy bags running around calling old people Boomers un-ironically.
They pretty much did that, remember? The only time in history that the world got to see Ryan Dunn OVER the age of forty:
Yeah, but now, legit, Knoxville (who I think is an all-right b-movie actor), did enough stupid shit that he now has to shit in a bag. When life imitates art...
I’m with you, there’s no need to do this dumb idiocy anymore. Youtube has been cranking out dumbass pranks strong since what, 2005? This had “fifteen minutes” written all over it, they should have saved their money. Margera was once rich from both the show AND skateboarding. Now he relapses nightly as he tours C-grade comedy clubs breaking beer bottles over his head on stage as if GG Allin wasn’t doing that shit while I was still playing with wooden blocks. What he needs to do is look at Steve-O, who now walks the Straight Edge and does it well, and say to himself “I he can do it, anybody can.”
It's right up there with hot chicks.... I've known a few that just peaked early, and hard/fast, and just cashed in on their looks and their ability to control guys... and had zero fallback. 2/3 have committed suicide (no doubt because they can't deal with not being the "hot chick in the room" any more), and one is living in her mom's basement, at the age of 40, as a part time waitress at a local bar (as of 2 years ago, anyway, when I last ran into her). This, to me, is the same thing... Knoxville had his shit together FAST, it seemed like... while Steve-O eventually came around and is doing really well, 10 years sober, and Bam is just reliving the old days in a time when nobody really knows WTF JackAss is/was. Was living, I should say. Man... he was NOT looking good in that last video... he legit looked on death's doorstep. Would not be surprised if in that depressive funk he just drank himself to death and never woke up.
I seriously could care less about the Rush Limbaugh death. You smoke, drink and do drugs continuously and you are not going to live to 100. The sad part is they will probably get someone even worse to replace him.
A couple of years ago, one of my coworkers (former Marine, one of the most stereotypical Americans I have ever met) and I got into a discussion about Rush, as he was an avid listener and I was...not. He was one of the few folks advocating for the role of family and to some extent, the community (ie, church) in taking care of people, as opposed to the government and the employer. His argument (and I'm paraphrasing his paraphrasing) was that one of the tenets of American society was an independence from government because the family, church and community played an outsize role, as compared to our European counterparts, and as "family values" declined, the flabbergasted employer and eager bureaucrat were left to pick up the slack, neither of which was a good fit to do so. However, when I listened to his show....he wasn't really advocating for any of that shit. More like he was playing Target to Alex Jone's Alabama Wal-mart at 3 a.m.
We used to listen to him daily growing up along with G Gordon Liddy. Big part of my childhood spent with my dad was road trips listening to Rush. One of those last vestiges of childhood gone kinda sad. Guess I’m in the minority on this board but he wasn’t some devil to me.
Well as old el Rushbo used to say, “if you don’t want to catch AIDS clinch a Tylenol between your butt cheeks.” Also I think the FCC would have dinged him for the F word ya homophobe.
