Weird. Houston Tumlin, aka Walker Bobby in Talladega nights. Killed himself at 28. Served in 101st Airborne. The dinner table scene is one of my favorite Will Ferrell movie moments.
Dang. Jessica Walter. https://deadline.com/2021/03/jessica-walter-dead-actress-arrested-development-1234721873/
She will always be Mallory Archer to me, dammit. That show losing her after losing Woodhouse's voice actor....damn.
She was the best part of Arrested Development. It's too bad Jeffrey Tambor is a scumbag and soured the hell out of that show at the end.
Out of all the women on "Archer," Mallory is the one I wanted to fuck the most. I wonder what they're going to do with the show now; it's kind of jumped the shark at this point. The last time I checked on it, the show was set in outer space, and Pam was some kind of weird rock monster.
I think they've been fighting cancellation for years now (naming the fictitious spy agency "Isis" didn't end well), but the last season had some good moments as it returned to the normal premise for the show. Now....I have to imagine if it's not already recorded, it's done.
I'm pretty sure if I was a few drinks in at the bar and Lucille Bluth came a knockin', I would've checked a septuagenarian off the ol' bucket list. Fun bit of trivia, her true life husband played Cadillac Ron on Archer before his death in 2019 But yes, ever since the characters stopped playing themselves, it went down hill.
I didn’t realize it was the same woman that played Lucille Bluthe until a few years ago. PCU is top 3 college comedies.
They should have killed him off, his character mattered a lot less than others. Somebody just should have beat the shit out of him. They’d be a fucking hero in any corner of the country.
FYI, the newest season of Archer is back to normal. Sad to see her pass. She played so many good roles.
