this is why I was wanting a tie. Plus, if it doesn't directly affect me, then I always root for the outcome which involves the most chaos.
You can call a perfect play but if you don’t have the pieces to execute it doesn’t matter. Would it be the coaches’ fault if they called a pass and the receiver dropped it? They knew a run was coming but the interior got gashed.
The Raiders wanted to play the Bengals rather than Kansas City in the first round. That was their incentive to win rather than tie.
Looking forward to some good games this weekend. Also, I love and hate this time of the year. It's all exciting and shit but in the back of my head I know it's close to coming to an end for 6 months, until preseason at least.
This is some funny shit. Compiled video of the ElectroBoom guy to mock Urban Meyer's coaching decisions. https://twitter.com/SharpFootball/status/1471374631399481347
Which one of you idiots did this? https://twitter.com/NFL_Memes/statu...mbed/s528h4?responsive=trueis_nightmode=false
Bills had no punts, no field goals, no turnovers. The GOAT coach (no sarcasm, I really believe that) watched his team fail to defend a single inch of football field last night. That was an amazing performance by the Bills.
Niners were just the better team. Too many injuries during the season kept SF from showing what they had during the season. They were all healthy against Dallas.
The Niners did everything they could to lose that game though. The false start on 4th and inches. The Jimmy G interception. The Jimmy G miss of a wide open receiver. Looking at it typed out, maybe Jimmy G did everything he could to lose that game
I can't believe that both McCarthy and Prescott came out afterwards and blamed the refs for that last series. What a bunch of fucking morons. Your center isn't allowed to arbitrarily spot and snap the ball, geniuses. Don't blame the ref that he had to sprint 20 yards down the field, squeeze between half a dozen 300+ lb. men, and actually, you know, spot the football that your center spotted 3 yards further down the field from where Dak slid. I'm not a big fan of the NFL refs, but he did everything he could to let that ball get snapped, including ignoring the fact that the ball was way downfield from the correct spot, and allowing the center to reposition it after getting it spotted. You guys fucked up the execution, the ref should be commended for making every effort to allow the snap to go off.
Exactly this. That ref went over and above to do what he could, and just about everyone on the planet recognizes it. Trying to blame him just makes their excuses all the more pitiful.
They were certainly a better officiating team than the one that called the Bengals/Raiders game. That was just awful. Official's huddle, "Did we just fuck up? Yeah, I think we did. Ok well, count the TD and, moving on!"
