If Dak slides 5 yards earlier, the ref could've gotten to the ball sooner, and they'd have had more time left. More time left to throw the magical guaranteed TD pass he was going to throw with 2 seconds left on the clock and 8 SF defenders standing in the end zone. I just love how the players, coaches and fans all bitched about the ref like they were certain to follow that up with a touchdown. Also, complaining about the refs when they see a judgement call differently, or simply don't see something at all is one thing, but like Binary and Nett said, the didn't do anything wrong, at all. They just didn't like he was actually trying to do his job instead of letting them have playground rules.
Yup. And the game I was talking about was clearly a mistake on their part. The game tonight is a blowout so far.
The Cardinals looked like a high school team out there. Offensive line got manhandled, Kyler's brain turned off, and the defense looked lost. Spectacular failure from a team that looked like one of the best in the league through most of the season.
This is hilarious to me. CBS Sports gives this little blurb about it, as if they're the class tattletale and have caught them doing something. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...anningcast-of-cardinals-vs-rams-playoff-game/ And, based on the way they reported the double bird incident, it's like CBS felt like it was a negative against rival ESPN. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ng-up-his-middle-fingers-during-manning-cast/ But, I mean, come on, the people watching and enjoying the ManningCast are sportsbro types or fans that just want to watch them like they're hanging out with their own crew watching an NFL game - you know, where you're going to talk shit to each other and probably flip somebody off. The audience is not Sister McFeely's third grade class at Our Lady of Perpetual Hypocrisy. The best part was after Eli heard Peyton say "I can't hear shit" he just goes on with "Never mind, Peyton's doing something else."
That is some serious shade. So, who y'all got? I see TB beating LA in a squeaker, but being too banged up to do much in the next round. I'm pulling for Cincy to upset Tenn, but I doubt it. GB over SF, because I'm a fan, but I admit that's a stingy defense. Bills manhandling KC, because they are peaking at just the right moment, and I don't see the KC defense being significantly better than the Pats'. Next round, I see Cincy getting mauled by the Bills, and GB squeaking past TB, for Bills and Packers in the Super Bowl. If the Rams can get past Brady in the playoffs, then they can get past Rodgers and will play the Super Bowl at home. This is the only thing to like about this time of year.
The Bucs played the first Super Bowl at home last year, FYI. As for picks, I think it's going to end up being KC vs Green Bay. And then I hope KC wins because fuck Rodgers.
https://deadspin.com/want-to-know-who-s-going-to-win-this-weekend-just-look-1848393811 Wow....this method is actually kind of genius, as the Bears have defined mediocrity for most of the last few years.
Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. Go Rams as I do not want the niners to have to go through three time zones to play next Sunday.
I was hoping the Titans would win, but Tannehill throwing a ball is a heart attack every time. Finally caught up to him in the end. That game was a defensive war the whole way.
With the Bengals it's a constant panic attack with the ever porous offensive line. Fucking two Heisman winner quarterbacks with busted up knees because they've just refused to do anything for 2 decades.
