Unsurprising. Trading your maybe-HOF quarterback and heading into a rebuild isn't a good place for a 30+ year old linebacker with a top-3 salary. Wonder if Carroll is going to see the rebuild through. He's 70, I can't imagine he's hanging around for much longer.
Carson Wentz to the Washington commies in case anyone missed that news. They actually TRADED for him. That's how desperate they were for a quarterback. Or maybe how stupid their FO is. Or maybe both.
No worries, you guys are going to trade for the Butthole Bandit himself. Wouldn't it be funny if the Seahawks went from squeaky-clean choir boy Russell Wilson, to a serial sexual predator who is suspended for having dozens of massage therapists claim he tried to force them into performing an unscheduled prostate exam?
Trubisky got a hell of an image overhaul by spending a year sitting on the Bills' bench. He got cut and signed for vet minimum a year ago, and now it looks like people are talking about paying him $10m.
Also a desperate QB market. Mariota and mr crab legs are the best available imo but no one seems to be talking about them. Actually Mariotta in Seattle wouldn’t be horrible also Khalil Mack just traded to chargers for a 2nd and 6th. Bears be stupid lol
I wish he’d just say that. “I can still play, I can still play well, and I don’t wanna stop.” Or hell, say “I want to retire after I get another ring, and if not that I wanna die trying.” Just tell the truth.
Huh? What, exactly, have you heard him saying if not "the truth" that he still wants to play football?
I don’t know man, this is a fucking message board and I post uninformed things so you can feel smarter and better than me. So you’re welcome.
That was... weird. I'm just asking what Brady has said that hasn't been either, "I don't know if I want to keep playing" (which seems fair since he's 44 and rich) or "I'm going to keep playing" (which seems fair since he was a top-3 QB last season). My guess is that he doesn't know how to be something other than a Professional Football Player. Guy is probably losing his mind at the prospect of staring into the abyss of decades of life stretching endlessly into the future with no prospect of a Lombardi parade. Gisele is probably tired of putting on a hoodie and/or fake goatee and screaming at him so he can get it up.
His paths forward are coach, tv analyst or owner. I can't see him enjoying coaching, he's too easily frustrated. I don't see him having the personality for analyst, he gives me creepy vibes like Tom Cruise or Mark Zuckerberg pretending to be human and know what the peasants are like. Dude's holding out for a stake in ownership, and his playing career has netted him somewhere around a quarter BILLION. Also, I think he needs to hold off Mahomes/Rodgers or whoever from some of his records, and probably got some heads up that Antonio Brown stopped showing up outside his house naked, picking seeds off a strawberry, so it was safe to return to Florida. That's a shame, because that'd do it for me too.
I disagree. And, when he does actually retire from playing, I don't think he'll do any of those. Mayyyyyybe in ownership. But, he's got the whole TB12, and several endorsements. Shaq and MJ have both had busy, lucrative careers post-playing with commercials and endorsements. He may get into other business ventures or even politics.
Sure, but the endorsement shit doesn't require him to "do" anything, just stand there and say "Subway, cunts" or whatever. I don't think he'll go far in politics. I agree he'll have some business ventures, but I can't see them consuming enough time or competitive energy, and to be honest, I don't think he's that interested.
