the number of people who say they are protesting, not watching or supporting, I imagine is vastly different from the number who are ACTUALLY changing their viewing and buying habits regarding the NFL
Last week I barely survived, finishing 3rd to last for this week. This week I'm leading the week, and easily safe. Injuries and Byes make this the crazy part of the season. Playing in this kind of league has been a ton of fun, granted because I'm still alive. But, I highly recommend doing a guillotine league if you haven't. I feel good about next week, and I got CMC in the auction this week. I overpaid, but if I can survive until he's healthy again, I'm golden.
Manningcast is back tonight! With Tom Brady and Marshawn Lynch. I have 0 interest in the teams playing the actual game tonight. But I’m super pumped for the espn 2 telecast. This is weird.
Lynch was great. Brady calling all defensive players dumbasses was hilarious. Brees was like a half step behind the whole time. But I love Manningcast. It's great.
I love how the Manning’s just keep trying to hard to get their guests in trouble. I would KILL for a daily show with those two just talking shit to each other and their famous guests
Who knew the Packers actually had a defense? That game had a little bit of everything, from flea flickers to one handed catches. The SO didn't get home until halftime (on purpose) and I scared the dog. She relocated from next to me on the couch to the bedroom. Good game!
That was a rare Thursday night game that wasn't totally garbage. It crept up on me and I had Kyler Murray as my fantasy qb. So much for a W this week....
The prime time games this year have been pretty amazing. Not always the best teams involved, but a ton of competitive/overtime/near-overtime games.
110% Agreed. A good number of the ones I thought would be terrible have gone into OT which is amazing.
That looks eerily like Shegirl's o face. Can someone from the SEC call the NFL and tell them there have been running backs since 2015? Adrian Peterson to the Titans taking over for the injured Derek Henry and Mark Ingram back to the Saints because the Texans are allergic to competency. Color me shocked Von Miller went to the Rams, after they shipped an LB off to Denver not even a week ago. At least he's with a contender now.
I had to go through that area 9 hours later and it was still shut down in both directions. The poor woman in the car he hit was trapped in the vehicle as it burned. What a horrible way to go, especially all because someone wanted to drink and drive like a dumb ass. Hopefully he'll never be allowed on a field again.
Well fuck. Part of me says "Oh no, I hope he won't be impacted!" while the other part of me screams "I hope you fucking shrivel up into a wheezy old man never to play again you stupid fuck."
thing is, he said he was “immunized” during training camp. Everyone took that to mean he got the covid vaccine. In hindsight he meant he had everything else and was dodging the question. Because of that, and because he’s costing his team, I’m firmly on the side of “fuck him.” If cam Newton’s dumbass can come to his senses, so can he
Oh, I'm a huge fan of his, but also firmly in the "fuck him" camp. Unlike others, though, I just don't want him to die... I want him to shrivel up in public and become a lesson to humanity.
I just lost all respect for him. Fuck, that is so disappointing. He was one of the few players I followed, and one of the reasons I am a GB fan. Rodgers is a football diva, but I figured he'd be smart enough to either get vaccinated or get an excemption. Lying about it is a whole other level of douche baggery.
